You misunderstand. Zoro isn't "Blocking" the attack, Nusjuro is the one blocking! He is making Nusjuro Redirect his attack to him. Zoro was never in front of Nusjuro to block a frontal attack, He instead attacks Nusjuro forcing Nusjuro to redirect his attack from the sunny to blocking the attack Zoro is flying in with. Which brings me to my point.

Why block an attack that doesn't hurt you? Unless it was going to damage Nusjuro and ACoC is the key to defeating the Gorosei?

Same as Kaido dodging Zoro. Zoro undervalued and underestimated.

Hmmm, even now mary joise remains at the top of the red line, it's not an easy spot to attack. And even without the gorose it is still presumably where god's knights are stationed. On top of that at any given point an admiral may or not be there. Overall it's not necessarily a bad time to attack it but doing so is probably difficult enough that you can't just start an attack at a moment's notice just because it's convenient.

It is a better time than usually no doubt. 5 less gorosei stationed there now.

Hm that's the scene Vader (recently Anakin) finds out Padme is dead and keeping her alive was his ultimate goal making this his ultimate failure. Maybe we get something similar in the chapter where someone fails utterly at their goal:

• Maybe Saturn has a scene like that for ending up creating a second Nika
• Maybe the transmission goes through at the end and the Gorosei feel like failures
• Maybe the SHs succeed in their get away and escape with satellites
• Maybe Stella ain't so dead after all and comes back to life

One way or another someone has to have a major L this chapter. Hoping its the bad guys so we don't stall the plot any further but we'll see.
