I'd say zoro's power level is weird right now. Technically speaking both luffy and zoro have more power than they can actually manage. Luffy's G4 drains his haki while his G5 drains his stamina. Both incapacitate him after a while (though G5 seems more permissive). Zoro in turn has learned to overuse his haki with his swords and seems to get drained pretty quickly (though we have not seem him drained yet). Both have a limited time frame over which they can go at it at full strength. Zoro's is shorter but I would still argue at that point he can more or less hold his own against a yonko. Of course, zoro does have some major gaps in his skill with haki. He can't use internal destruction, he can't use future sight, he has no control over his cladding. As far as I can tell kaido could use at least haki emission, future sight and was excellent at cladding. Big mom shows similar stuff but it's unclear if her perception was at the level of future sight. Shanks is presumably capable of all known techniques plus his technique to shut down enemy's observation haki.

Looking at imu talking about some figures... I can't help but wonder if yamato's fruit which supposedly relates to some deity or guardian of wano is also some sort of figure from the past that imu can identify. For someone who stands as a god of celestial "dragons" he has a ton of dragon enemies.
ive had an ancient idea that "celestial dragons" was cultural appropriation of more literal dragons who all have some explicit beef with the WG. "your thing is my thing now" is like imperialist colonizer bullshit 101 so I can see the CDs doing exactly that. makes me wonder what their respective cultures were even like before Mu's World corrupted them into this homogenous incestuous goop of lemming people.

always makes the mystery intensify as to why Dragon's name is Dragon

It didn’t go too well for him the last time he tried. I think he and Sanji teaming up would have been able to take down Big Mom though.

But if we’re talking about the current Yonko instead of the OG Yonko (who he’d have no chance against in a 1v1) I think he actually could take 2 of them. Buggy is quite literally a joke, but Blackbeard would struggle hard against Zoro, because he doesn’t have any DF powers to negate. He’d just have to try to tank sword slashes and hope he can get a solid quake punch in.

Hm, yeah, I've also had a similar idea. Not only because dragons are looked unfavorably at wano (even before kaido) but also because there's an insinuation (or less than that maybe) that celestial dragons usurped lunarians (winged fire users) from the red line. If we look at the metaplot basically everyone hates dragons (in spite of them being cool) even though one would expect an affinity for at least one of the relevant parties (joyboy, davy jones, imu, lily, the kozuki...).

Eh, I don't think incest is THAT big an issue in Mary Geoise. Biologically speaking. Take Garling for instance. He went to the lower world, dazzled some attractive redhead with... dunno, he seems like an ass but he still dazzled her, and accidentally had twins. One twin was lost to the peasants but the other one seems to have been welcome to tenryubito society with open arms in spite of his mother being of low birth. And after that god knights didn't just let go of shanks, they made significant efforts to try and retrieve him. It's also at least appears it is possible to ascend to tenryubito status. And however disturbing there's also the influx of slaves into tenryubito society. All things considered it appears you only need one tenryubito parent to be considered a full fledged tenryubito. It's as if the whole thing was structured so that imu's cattle was well and healthy and could keep the lineages strong.

Well, sure, but zoro was barely getting a hang of stuff at the time. He landed a single hit with cladding against kaido and then he took another step while fighting king. Now he is even further ahead I would argue but he doesn't yet use cladding with awareness of it.

I think BB at this point probably deserves a little more credit than that. When taking hits he.. just doesn't go down.

Hm, wouldn't the Lunarians fit? Winged, fire manipulators who were known as gods and whose home used to be exactly where Mariejoie is situated?

Not trying to throw shade at BB, but Zoro is a terrible matchup for him.

Luffy unlocked CoC when seeing that Ace are going to be killed on Marineford... Maybe when seeing Loki or another nakama on verge of death makes him unlock ACoC just like Joyboy put on that knot on Emeth

Then again, he killed Cobra, Saturn, and Lightbulb Head Vegapunk.
I know, that's why I said "berely". It dosen't mean Oda DOSEN'T kill anyone, it just mean he does that rarely. Also does Vegapunk even count as killed? Sure, his original body is dead but his brain and even spirit (to some degree) is still alive AND Lilith even plan to (I guess) recreate Vegapunk probably by making his clone. So, what's death for Vegapunk?

Didn't he use CoC before that time? Like with Duval's bull or on Kuja Island, to save a pietrified Margaret.

Yes. CoC was giving omens of its emergance. when it happened against the bull, fans went crazy, because that moment informed what Shanks had done at story start

Ah back in the day when the scans translated haki as "vigor and drive" and we all referred to it as "aura" while discussing the chapters. :XD Quite funny considering how much that word is used today but in a whole other meaning.

Him being replaced by a cute young woman scientist doesn’t change how Vegapunk’s body was impaled and ceased breathing. Dead is dead, no matter how sugarcoated the excuses are.

Hmm, I am of the idea that "vegapunk" is still fully alive. Maybe due to him splitting his personality into clones death is a bit funky with him but odds are that his real self is still within the endlessly growing brain. If vegapunk was "dead" his devil fruit would have returned to circulation. But it hasn't so he must be alive in a meaningful capacity.

Totally agreed. Imu’s size matches the size of King. He has black wings and apparently some flames as well. This reeks of Lunarian. As I said I bet the horns are granted by his DF as his tail is.
