My guess is the SSG weapons can absorb the DF powers from people like Cell, and that's what happens to Big Mom and Kaidou. Probably won't be a straight up stealing of ability, but it'll be an evolution of whatever technique Vegapunk used to replicate Kizaru's light DF lasers in the Pacifista. If Big Mom and Kaidou aren't dead after this, they're going to be wildly nerf'd.

Luffy will have 4.5 bln. One of the first leaks said Luffys bounty tripled and it seems most reasonable. Giving him 3.5 bln after defeating Kaidou makes no sense.

On the other hand if shanks who was on the seas much longer is only 4 bln. I guess 3.5 bln would be fine. But I weel like a round 4 bln would be best fitting.

Also it would be nice if they've revealed Dragon bounty. I am guessing it was over 5bln

It's possible but I have a hard time buying guys like Mihawk or Boa working under Bakkin. I could definitely see Buggy doing that.

This marks an end and a beginning.

Up till now, every time Luffy fought a major enemy, he was an underdog fighting an uphill battle against an established badass.
But from now on, Luffy is the established badass. I think that the next few encounters he will have in the following Saga will have a very different feel to it, at least until he comes to blows with another Yonkou or an enemy of a similar level.

I totally disagree. Luffy has done high symbolic damages to Marines and WG but Rocks Pirates or Revolutionaries who are territory conquerors must have defeated/killed more Marines/WG soldiers than the Straw Hat Pirates ever did. This is corroborated by the facts that Garp was named the "Hero of the Navy" after he defeated the Rocks and that Dragon has the highest bounty as the Revolution leader.

That's cap. Luffy wrecked Impel Down and Ennis Lobby. Invaded Marineford. Defeated 3 of 7 shichibukai. Defeated 1 Yonko. Retained the subordination of Nico Robin. Possesses 3 of 4 Road Poneglyphs. Now Has Wano in his possession.

Kaido made it very clear to the whole Worst Generation that they did nothing big and that defeating a few Shichibukai wasn’t such a crazy achievement. Kaido probably destroyed a lot of Marines until the WG eventually let him rule over New World freely as part of the world balance.

One of the more credible leakers claims Luffy's bounty is between BB and Shanks, so I doubt that.

Wasnt that obvious? If you re-read the last chapter, it's clear that the first few pages are the dawn after the battle, that's when he calls CP0, and then there is a week long time skip when he arrives at the island.

Well, shouldn't it be based on threat? Luffy is the holder of the Nika fruit, which the government feared so much only the highest levels even know about it and are terrified. I mean, Robin had an 80M bounty as a child, Luffy should be the highest bounty.

Threat is subjective. Kid had a bigger bounty than Luffy at Sabaody solely due to civilian casualties, even though Luffy fought Warlords and CP agents previously.

There are no actual seats! Why do people think this is an official thing? During Rogers time there were no Yonko. It's a made up thing that they use to call the strongest pirates who the government fears enough that they don't make moves on. After Luffy escaped BM, they were calling him the 5th Emperor. There is nothing that says "there must be 4" .

It's likely a propaganda invention by the newspapers. That said, that means the top 4 captains will invariably be considered Emperors by default.
