Yeah many revelations during the film red.
I think this film is an introduction of Red Hair Pirates.
We got informations about Ben Beckman, Lucky Ro and Yassup who has futur sight in permanence.
Also informations about Shanks.

Film Red is going to be a nightmare of people cherry-picking material to promote their arguments as canon, IMO. Haven't seen it but from what I've heard it sounds like it's going to propel the power level discussions into uncharted territory. I wouldn't read too much into a movie not having a character. Until Yamato officially joins in the manga, it'd be a major spoiler to put her in the movie as a SHP. They've spoiled things in a similar way before but only one I can recall recently was Denjiro being Kyoshiro. Even after Jinbei officially joined on WCI, Oda tortured us with color spreads that didn't include him, leaving his fate up in the wind. I remember people posting how they hoped he'd be missing an arm or something to show how tough that escape was.

I was hoping he'd come back with a peg leg. Would've been metal af.

It was pretty mean of Luffy. He's gonna be PK probably within one year of the OP timeline, but telling her she can join after she's done apprenticing with Shinobu. Lol. I guess Luffy can still go around doing Pirate stuff after he finds One Piece, but that's basically like playing a game on New Game+.

Writes an essay full of copium about how Yamato was conceived for commercial purposes, and not really Oda's intent, and how it'd have somehow made sense for a future Strawhat to be trapped in a cave for the entire arc and introduced out of the blue after the conflict is over, only to add this little tidbit as the *actual* reason. Yeah, Oda certainly does no how to take the piss out of fans who obsess about gender identity, but somehow I doubt it's the same side of the fandom you think it is lol

Yamato is already far more developed than basically every other member of the crew was in their introduction arcs, with the only real exception being Jinbei who was a proper slow-burn of a joining process, and came out the gate being developed heavily. Who else had nearly as much development in their introduction arc as Yamato did in his? Franky? Chopper maybe?

This is so pretentious, I don't even know how to answer.

Having apprentices is a time-honored piracy tradition. I wouldn't doubt it if Tama joins in on the Final Journey with all the honorary Strawhats that'll likely go with.

If that would have been the case, Luffy would have recruited Tama right then and there in 1056, but the reality as we saw it is that it wasn't, and wasn't about people suddenly changing their minds either.

That’s true, Nami and Robin both approached Luffy instead the other way around. Even Tama, Shirahoshi and Vivi if i recall correctly.

That's funny, because it's like a parallel of other readers assuming Yamato won't join because of certain other scenes. What a world we live in.
