2/10 = Yamato doesn't join

5/10 = The chapter probably ends with Yamato landing on the ship and saying something like, "I'm joining your crew!" and a bunch of surprised faces, because we all know this is just getting ridiculous how it's been delayed so much.

10/10 = ... IDK. I've never been that hyped about a crew member joining. I mean Jinbei telling Big Mom to fuck off was arguably an 8 or 9/10.

I don't really get what Yamato could possibly do to delay joining. Jinbei has the liberty of being a Fishman. The world is his oyster. I mean shit, he just right-place-right-timed the Onigashima War somehow. Yamato isn't an experienced sailor, and, like Oden, would never escape Wano without help. Also, it's unlikely Luffy is coming back to Wano anytime soon. This is the only real chance to get on the road to Laugh Tale for Yamato.

Plus, Yamato's "thing to do" was literally a three item list:

• Get out of exploding handcuffs
• Free Wano from Kaido's tyranny
• Sail away and live like Oden

I really wonder if Bakkin has an ability that allows her to manipulate Weevil. It'd be awesome if she had something like a Baka Baka no Mi that turned people stupid. Imagine if Weevil was actually not an infantile idiot, and he was just being influenced by an ability of hers...

I honestly think Weevil is going to be an enemy turned ally though. I suspect Luffy is going to pull something like he did to Alvida against Bakkin ("who's this fat lady??"). Maybe something like:

Weevil: "Strawhat! I'm here for my dad's treasure! Where is it! Momma told me you has it!!"
Luffy: "Mama?" *sideways head turn*
Weevil: *points to Bakkin*
Luffy: "She can't be your mom! You're way too fat!"
Weevil: "What?! Really? Mama is a liar?!"
Bakkin: "...."
Bakkin: "........."
Bakkin: "Damn you Strawhat!"

Yeah, I suppose 1057 might be perceived as a 5/10 if it just mostly had Yamato running to the Sunny and only just then getting on board by the last page.

Kuzan association with BB came to light after this arc. While BB Tenth Titanic Captains are already known worldwide. Also Burgess saying he can't trust Kuzan word on this doesn't seem like a crewmemberto me. You think Doflamingo wouldn't know if a former Adrimal became a underlying of Yonko?

I'm not going to argue about this anymore. You are making a lot of assumptions. For one, at Marineford, the Blackbeard Pirates had a total of nine members other than Blackbeard himself. That is to say, not enough people to fill ten Titanic Captain spots. You're basically assuming that the tenth captain is well known and persisting. Aokiji would not work under another ship captain, and it would make no sense for him to ally himself with Blackbeard strategically unless he was going to legitimately join the crew. He has a goal, and it likely involves gaining their trust, which isn't going to be done as an "ally."

Plus, you know what sinks the Titanic? A mother-fucking Iceberg. We got one person who can make icebergs.

It depends? given how the story has is developing it really is begining to look like mihawk might be a straight up match to current shanks. It would level the field for the cross guild at least. Role wise there's almost clear parallels between the BB pirates and the strawhats but in my post I was going more for hierarchy stuff. Felt weird to imply that any one titanic captain is stronger than another outside of shiliu who is definitely a target for zoro. Zoro does usually win his fights with a lot of comfort though and shiliu doesn't scream "yonko level" for that matter. Not sure of how franky would engage san juan wolf. He didn't exactly do great against good old hatcha.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to engage San Juan Wolf very well, but if anyone could I'd give it to Franky given his role.

Several strawhats have at least the means to hit with significant AoE. franky has at most a gaon canon from the sunny. Obviously luffy, zoro, sanji and yamato... Luffy could even become as large as san juan wolf. Outside of that you have nami with her weather control potentially hitting that big. SJW seems a tad large for robin tbh.

With it being so late in the game, Yamato or Carrot were the best bet to join, but according to the leakers, neither is joining. With the inevitable battle between the Strawhats and the Blackbeard Pirates, the Strawhats don't have enough people. Yamato was a good choice, but it seems like she will not be joining.

Shiryu getting the invisiblity fruit seems like an afterthought for him. I think Burgess will get a way-overpowered fruit, possibly even Moria's shadow fruit. Which would instantly skyrocket him up the threat rating.
