Well, the dragon thing could be something minor, but I think we'll see at least 4 dragon fruits in the series, so perhaps we get to see a new one, like Monkey D. Dragon's fruit, or Vegapunk doing something cool related to dragons... He seems a bit obsessed with them.

Could also be a follow up on what happened to Kaido. That one's been left unexplained for quite a while.

Basically, yeah. It's in distribution process, so spoiler providers will usually have read the chapter by now, but if full summaries or pics drop this early the leakers risk legal action. The closer to the actual chapter release they drop the spoilers, the less likely they are to get Shueisha's big Sauron eye upon them (which is why Redon is usually pissed when new leakers are reckless and drop super early).

I really want to know the backdoor calculus spoiler providers use to determine when it's "safe" to start dropping spoilers. This whole "hint" slow drip thing feels incredibly arbitrary. Like I definitely get drawing the line between summaries and raws, and even the safety buffer between short summaries and long summaries, but this hint bullshit feels entirely ego and clout-chasing. These are a rando's gif reaction to a teaser of a trailer of the full trailer for a movie.

That's exactly it. The reason hints exist now but not back in the day is bc social media became a more common place of "discussion" than forums and such, and followers started to matter. By consistently being the first one to indicate you know something about the chapter, the OP junkies are drawn to you and you gain followers and clout within the community while still keeping deniability by being vague enough that it could be about something else.

At least Redon actually gives spoilers as well, eventually, or at the very least confirms others' ones... but I agree it really is an unnecessary part of the spoiler process.

I think the second last question was answered as soon as we learnt Vegapunk has ties to Dragon.
