I agree that it would make sense for York to be a slave captive of Saturn at Marigeoise. It would be an interesting plot development for her to regret her choices and for the SH alliance to meet her again there during the final war against Tenryubitos.

Well if she dont die then in a way that is a fitting karma for her. The lazy greed one of the Vegapunk is ofrced to become a workaholic slave for the Goverments need and not her own. In a way I would be suprised if the Gorosei actually keep thier words and give her status. After everything Stella did and after what kind of scum of the erth teh Gorosei have seen being, keeping promises does nto seem to be on thier lists.
And they will be desperate for Mother Flames fast now. They only need to nuke a few more islands, and Imu will win.

If it were as simple as finding the blueprints there's no reason the Gorosei couldn't have just invaded his lab and utterly raided it. For whatever reason, they *need* at least A Vegapunk to be willingly working for them.

Idk, everyone said this about York to begin with, and then the reveal happened. Weird to hear it again all this time later.

I think the problem is their whole basis for meeting York is betrayal. Not only that; York is literally a subset of Vegapunk's mind/intentions/whatever and betrayed itself essentially. I feel like the Gorosei aren't dumb, and whatever arrangement they come to with York will likely have to be tempered in a way that suits the foundation of their relationship (betrayal of Vegapunk).

My guess is we will not see what the robot wants to do. The SHP and everyone will escape and we'll get whatever he did in a flashback much later.

I can't recall a single example, myself. Kinda wish they'd just commit to the bit and every chapter just has escalating hype no matter what, to the point of absurdity.

i don't think it has to do with Emeth's move, (huge blast...) seems Punk record was not meant to stay online after so many dead satelites perhaps ?
only positive thing is see here, is another failure for the gorosei, not only they could not get kuma/robin/boney, they also lost a major asset, which reduces considerably york's survival's chances.
