Well, since the Qilin fruit popped up recently, although I did not expect it to be a God Knight power, I wonder if we're about to see another power that Oda has hinted towards: a Garuda inspired mythological devil fruit.

Loki seems like a good candidate, but I guess the possibilities are endless now that we have the God Knights in play.

Edit: most importantly, the Qilin was supposed to appear with the imminent arrival of a sage/ruler, so I'm hyped for the next few chapters.

It depends IMO, in case it‘s a plain rose df, yes the sword would somewhat be like the iron cloud sword wielded by Ohm(one of Enel‘s former priests) but with much more potential I‘d say, if it‘s actually a thorn wielding deity / demon dwelling inside the weapon I would clearly not call it bullshit.

But well I guess people are growing tired of demon themed powers and Mythical Zoans.

Could be an interesting tactic if they have some God's Knights that trained in swordsmanship and haki to get strong and eventually were gifted weapons with DF powers instead of themselves eating fruits. That would be the first time we'd see high level combatants that use DF powers via an object without losing the ability to swim themselves. Could make for a more interesting fighting style too.

His fist yes, his arm however not completely. Nika‘s giant fists as well as the wrists are black, all other parts of the arms however still remain white as G5 Luffy usually clads his fists only in Haki, G3 however is a different story.

Doesn't this scan show the same thing with the middle fist. Whenever he inflates his whole fist/wrist area and uses hardening it all becomes black before getting to the arm part. The little gif only shows the inflated part which looks identical to the middle first in the page you shared. Also seems Oda was a little lazy with this one since all the other arms look normal when they should be inflated fists like when he used Elephant Gattling on Noah.

So... that kinda sounds like summer has the power of that furutsubaki no rei yokai... which apparently he used to sort of give life to nightmares. If each of those things has abilities and power associated to what those nightmares take inspiration from then it's a very broken ability. Like if he can give birth to devil fruit users, and powerful ones at that, at will.

Not affected in what regard? I think the potentially more dangerous aspect about these beings is their abilities rather than their overall strength. It's unlikely Sommer can just conjure yonko level fighters but abilities. can still be tricky to deal with.

hmm, my current headcanon is that IF his ability is to materialize dreams/nightmares then those from children are probably more potent than that of adults. Or maybe adult fears are too abstract for the ability to work properly. A child is bound to be scared of a boogeyman which is simple enough to materialize. Whereas an adult would be afraid of, dunno, financial ruin, loneliness or a presentation for work.

I‘m not too certain how consistent Oda has been with this, but IMO Nika‘s Haki cladded fists have definitely more white sections so one can tell Nika- and non-Nika-fists apart easily.

Having Duval come to Elbaf would be an unexpected choice by Oda.
