What can they (Jibei, Brook, Usopp, Nami, Robin + Frankey) do?! They struggled against 2 humans with immortality, so what can they do against an army of devil giants with immortality?!
I really want to see Loki in action. Afterall, He's the legitimate (half) king of Elbaf. Given his twisted character, he may not decide to protect his people (and he has reason. They treated him badly) but he surely would love to fight and taste his strength as a proud giant. Also, he has a grudge against Gunko

Of course as you said the most likely scenario is Luffy‘s group arriving and saving the“weaker“ crewmembers from imminent danger. Still I‘m hoping to be witnessing something else, something less predictable.

I think when Imu is involved it has to be Luffy who “saves everyone.” He’s Nika and a D, Imu’s greatest fears in one single package.

I really hope Dorry and Brogy are recoverable. They had such wholesome moments with Luffy on Egghead. I won’t be surprised if Imu gives immortality that they can take away in exchange for someone’s full lifespan (giving Imu the ability to vaporize them like with Saturn).

The hints make it seem likely that Luffy is finally going to realize he’s needed above. I wonder if Loki is like Luffy in that a full meal helps him recover faster? Gets mentioned it’d take a long time for him to recover, but it seems like he’s definitely needed here.

Anyone else think this arc is going to end with another invincible person getting punished by Imu? (Probably Sommers for losing to Gaban despite being invincible)

Yeah, I’ve already said in a different post that that’s exactly what happened.
What I’m saying here is Imu mentions taking lifespan in exchange for immortality. I’m wondering if they’ve been robbed of their lifespan, basically.

Knowing how sensationalist the hinters tend to be though, I feel like the chapter might be a little slower. I mean, just looking back to WorstGen's reactions, like to 1149, it really makes me feel like we might have to sit through a bit more of the giants panicking before someone turns up. And Zoro and Sanji might only really show up in the last few pages. Or worse, we only see them 'noticing' that something's off.
Just comparing this one to : "OH... MY... GOD... Redon reaction is 100% understandable Very good Chapter is coming, like damn..."
Right?

So, what I'm saying is I really need to see more of Redon's reactions XD


All that said, I still think the situation is too difficult, such that we need an overwhelming solution like an Ancient Haki blast or Loki's AoE lightning. Heck, Gigant Luffy opancaking everyone might be acceptable too.

Sanji's priority would be saving his tied-up women first. I imagine we'd get a Power of love vs Thorns showdown? They've gotta be freed before becoming useful again.

Interesting. Well I can't imagine there's much more besides things like delivering the hat back to Kawamatsu and visiting Kiku before going back to Momo.

Momo's reaction to what Yamato will do next after touring Wano will def be a key moment.

I don‘t get the Dodo wing metaphor. How do flightless and extinct describe Luffy in any way? Or do you mean the Dodo is perfectly fine without using its wings, if so I think a Kiwi would have been a better choice as these brids are still around and have even smaller wings.

On the Wano matter, maybe Kawamatsu is fighting a sumo match. If you want to add Blackbeard why not call a sumo match featuring Kawamatsu vs Jesus Burges?(Of course highly unlikely)

Because Zoro and Sanji are put high on the pedestal so much that they make others look less useful and less relevant, like dodos.

For the future Pirate King's crew being confronted by Imu's forces, that's bad.
