I guess Roger wasnt strong enough to beat xebec but neither xebec seems to want Kill him i mean literally Kill him as a keyplot for continue his plan...it was more than a nuisance.. you can see how comical the Roger visit to Shakkys bar was.. even with Xebec in there..

And of course the combined effort from Garp and Roger was needed it to defeat him...

What i mean even if Xebec was 10 times stronger than Roger and Garp individually.. i dont see him as someone hellbent in Murder their asses merciless..At least not until GV.

My vision is that Xebec kinda stopped at the time. Even if he was stronger than 20s Roger/Garp at the time, he spent the next 18 years (until God Valley) apparently at the same level lol

At least this is how I see it, cuz i don't see Harald being stronger than Roger

Harald Definitly wasnt stronger than Xebec..Neither...but remember both were fighting with Pain in their hearts.. as someone who had no choice.. than fight his own Brother.. and deeply regretting being forced to do it

Calling him a puppet is jumping the gun with what we currently know about him. I still think he was trying to cross Imu at some point but Imu‘s spell prevented him from doing so. Also Imu using the spell on him foiled whatever Imu had further planned to do with Harald.

Well we still don't know what happened other than Imu mentioning Harold made a mistake that stop come from getting Elbaph. So we still don't even know if Imu did possessed him I'm or not.

And that it was 14 years ago.

The one thing I keep wondering is why didn't Rock say anything about Imu to Harold that might have actually suede him to his side.

You think with all the bloodthirsty God‘s Knights going rampant and chasing every humanoid being at sight, Harald as an outstandingly huge giant would have made it out there alive? Well he might have been above Admiral level but you think he had what it takes to best all the GKs plus Saturn?
Maybe I‘m underestimating Harald but IMO it should have turned into a dire situation for him.
