Man, I think the person is gambling on things that are probably going to happen.
Like it is guranteed that we'll see the hybrid form (but what does that offer other than attack options with limbs? He needs the awakened hybrid form), so eventually, these fake leaks will be correct.

I think hybrid form would actually offer a lot. Being able to ACTUALLY fight instead just spiting thunder is huge thing, it would also fix size problem. Loki complains that in dragon form he's too big to keep up with smaller opponent, plus it eats up a lot of his stamina even though he endure more than in normal form. Hybrid form seems to be solution because it would mix best things from both normal and dragon form. So, it's bound to happen.


Btw, hearing that "Loki will fight in hybrid form" every week is starting to seriously pissing me off. Every time I get my hopes up I'm like "Curses, it's fake again!" and I can't handle it anymore.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! i cant believe it!!! finally!!! i wanted to know about more about him from decades ago!,, but he never said nothing more than he was part of a battle convoy-- and nobody ever ask him anything-- he is still the most misterious Straw Hat ever--- until this chapter finally.. i bet his previous life before he became a Pirate-- it was very veryyyy interesting...

I mean, that's just every chapter tbh. Spoilers can describe something in a low-key way, only for the actual chapter to be peak in its art and presentation, yet some people will already have decided the chapter is mid bc the spoilers sounded uneventful or some shit.

I've seen plenty of people say they forgot reading some actual chapters because they'd already read the summaries several days earlier... do these people judge whole movies based off how their friends describe them as well? Just give up on fiction and stories at that point.

I read it as: "You might want to skip the spoilers—not just because it's really good, which it is—but because it's better than just being a good chapter and does something special with Brook's story that I, a professional spoiler, don't want to spoil this time."

I've done that a few times. One Piece might be a singularly brilliant work of storytelling on the whole, but some chapters are meh, and some of us have toddlers. If a chapter is light on action and the summary is thorough, the summary's all I need some weeks, and I just read two chapters the next week. Other weeks I forget to check in on One Piece at all. But it's all good; in the 20 years I've been reading I've only ever fallen behind by a few weeks.

Also, do you not use friends' opinions to decide which movies you're going to watch? Isn't that judging a little based on the descriptions of others? I was excited about Mandalorian and Grogu, but after reading a couple of reviews I'm not throwing down theater money; am I giving up on cinema?

I never said I thought he called the chapter mid. I said there's people every other week calling chapters mid before even reading them, heck, before even a full summary is out.

And I'm clearly talking about the people who give loud opinions on something despite not having experienced the actual thing. I have kids too and don't have time to watch and read everything I want to, but no I don't ask my friends for a 1 minute summary of a movie and then talk about it as if I'd seen it and give it bad reviews.

Sorry, I didn't think I was that unclear as to what I meant. I wouldn't be in the spoiler thread if I was such a purist who didn't think spoilers were worth discussing or gave any inclination to the quality of the chapter. But when talking about a manga, where presentation can make or break any moment, and you think reading a short summary of five lines and already decide you hate a chapter, then yeah, I think that's stupid. (And to be clear, not talking about *you*, just in general the loud people who do act that way.)
