It does look like more of Oda's style. To me, the last one just seemed like he was on a dead-line so he through Brook in there. This cover is more of an apology to the fans.

Well, it's been going on for a while now, and there's still Hogback, Absalom, and Moria to deal with, not to mention taking down Oz and Brook doing something.

Nice, thanks Ehlly-chan. So..I hate Moria's coloring. I'm sorry, it just seems dumb. Everything else I'm pretty okay with, and Kumasy looks so cute with the blue.

Does anyone know where can I find scans of all the complete dust covers, inside flaps included?

I own the 40 volumes published in Spain, but their color scheme sucks... I intend to print the original japanese and use them.

Not for volume 48, since 48 covers chapters 460 to 469/470. On volume 49 Nightmare Luffy, Oz, and Bartholomew Kuma will probably make an appearance, but I dunno what's gonna be on the cover of volume 48. It comes out on December 4th, so I guess we'll find out around then.

This one is confusing me... Volume 48 is the individual fights on Thriller Bark, right? That means Sanji vs. Absalom, Luffy vs. Moria, Zoro vs. Ryuma, Chopper vs. Hogback, etc. The battle with Oz is gonna be in volume 49. So this would be a good cover for volume 49, but in volume 48, Oz doesn't really do anything, so he shouldn't be on the cover. I don't know why they decided put Oz on this cover, it doesn't seem fitting for the contents of volume 48 at all.

finally new covers out...nah..not really good in my opinion..
i agreed that Oz shouldnt be in the covers already...but i dunno, maybe its for commercial purpose...though i expect a colours with all crew of starwhats (8 of them) after in the last covers we have the enemies..

That is what i was thinking to, Oz just made a small appearance in this volume, but since the volume has 11 chapters i think Oda found chapter 470 important, but i think it was better to put Oz on the next volume and this cover sucks imo first one really it's to simple drawn

When will the next volume be released, it wont be again 3 months like volume 48 will it ?? And how do you guys know when the next volume will be released? Is it announced early or at the very last moment ?

I don't really like this cover for volume 48 and i agree that it isn't fitted with the content of volume 48. Luffy and Oz will fight in volume 49 so why they put Luffy and Oz together in the cover? I wonder what Oda will put in volume 49. Maybe all the Strawhat crew, Moria, and Kuma.
