Can anyone tell me by the way when or how the releases for the next volume release are being published? I remember reading it in the Weekly scans, or do they announce it at the very last moment ? For instance is it known when volume 49 is being released ?

Who do you think's gonna make the next appearance on the cover, we've had Absalom, Perona, Moria and Oz already, i don't think it'll be Kuma, i'm thinking of another Oz vs the crew, since v49 are almost all chapters of the Mugiwara crew fighting Oz, my guess would be especially Nightmare Luffy with the title ''Warrior of Hope'' or something like that..

Actually, Kuma came to Thriller Bark in chapter 472, which is gonna be in volume 49, plus, he sends Pelona away and has that little conversation with Moria, so there's a decent chance Kuma may be on volume 49's cover. Though he might not have a very prominent position on it... And you're right, Nightmare Luffy will probably be there too. I think it'll be Nightmare Luffy, all the Straw Hats, and Oz. Contributing to the theme of a group victory over Oz.

Thats why, but it is possible, like i never thought Oz would be on the cover of v48, they did it so my guess would be Nightmare Luffy and/or Kuma

lol - their weird comboattack is on the cover along with a very creepy hulkish luffy and a more than good looking nami.

about brook I think you're right that he will have some more space next cover

OMG i loved that, it's such a good cover, got me rememberin all the good stuff from this arc, the Megazord, Nightmare Luffy, Bride Nami, =DDDD and the colors =DDDD
just didn't like Lola's hair being all pink, i kinda liked the fact that only Perona had that hair color = /

And I am happy that the german firm who translates the OP Tankobon did quite a good job with the original covers ... there are just not that colorful ^^ (every volume has the same background color (blue) except volume 41 and 46)
