Re: One Piece Volume Cover thread! (Latest: Vol. 68)

I personally prefer Oda's covers, my favorites have to be volume 58,

I own that volume amongst others. I agree its my fav Oda volume cover too.

The cover of volume 70 is out, but pretty small.
The subtitle is "Doflamingo Appears" which was used for chapter 698.

lol
I found a little bit bigger one

Weird cover. What is with the black and white? Seems so cramp...and law looks weird.
I like the yellow but I really don't see the need to force the supernovas there.

Re: One Piece Volume Cover thread! (Latest: Vol. 69)

No Vergo on the cover, over Laws head I can see Baby 5 and there is Buffalo as well.
It gives me hope that he will be back closer to end of Dressrosa arc and we will get him on cover in Alabasta/EL style.

He was too cool/too crucial character during PH to be left out from the covers for good -.-

Re: One Piece Volume Cover thread! (Latest: Vol. 69)

Agreed. They should have done a villain's side cover for this.

I don't know what to say of this cover; better gonna wait for a bigger version.

nice cover, the black and white is needed to show that the supernovae's alliance was in the newspaper . Vergo should have been there, though!

From what I read on APforums, the reader asks Oda to draw Whitebeard, Marco, Vista, Jozu and Izou( their names can he seen in sbs pic above). Looking forward to seeing the commanders and whether or not Oda includes any other characters.

first chapter of volume 70, and its introduction: http://www.s-manga.net/omf/omf_978-4-08-870660-3.html . In my opinion, it's a shame that this awesome picture of the marines has been split in 4 pages! it should have been reduced and put into a double page!

I'm gonna learn to read and speak japanese, just for the pleasure of buying the original manga comics. I think, it's worth years of education to learn.

Thanks again, Vagabond87 and ikari.
