Fuwa loses in Power & Speed to Ochi but he has more Technique than Ochi.
Its not like Ochi will bury the game against Fuwa. And Ochi's Mental Pressure when explained by Oni described it as something that just happens due to Ochi's natural mannerisms on the court.
The same way Yukimura and his Yips happens. So its something unavoidable from Ochi almost.
If this is the case, Fuwa (in theory) can reflect this, changing the direction of the match possibly.
I'm not saying this is concrete, its just a theory, and supported by the manga at least.
In theory, you're right. There is a chance. But whether that's enough to change the result of a match is another story. Ochi has the highest mental known in the series right now at 7, much higher than Atobe mere 4.5.

?
It change what is relevant. I'm saying the coaches likely paired each other up by who plays well together.
What does whether or not they like each other got to do with anything?
The coaches had no idea that Kimijima secretly wanted Tohno's knee broken.
I actually didn't see how the two playstyle complement each other at all, really.

This is the concept of manga theories Ken. You literally just described manga theories. Sometimes really strong theories aren't always supported 100% in the manga.
Whilst it can't be 100% proven in the manga, evidence is gathered to support the idea that is being put forward.
I only have problem when people are putting forth theories that's not support by any evidence what so ever, which happen a fair number of time in this forum, actually.

Do you even know when to use the expression "that's just low"?
I haven't even "added" anything. You made the bold statement saying "all, my other points". I just pointed this out.
This is a forum Ken. Don't make things personal.
My other point before is that Fuwa have Mirror Eyes. That's it. I have not raise up points on issues about Fuwa mirror eyes ability. You're the one that raise that up about what Mirror Eyes can do. Fuwa have mirror eyes. My point is not wrong. That's it, end of story here.

Again. Stop making things personal when you're on here.
As for Oni, we were told that "Ryoma and Kintaro won't beat Oni & Tokugawa who can hit 10 at a time."
But then we had Oni and Tokugawa listed as below 20 other people.

I think this justifies assumptions that MSers could compete with them.
Sure those assumptions were later proved to be wrong, but its really understandable that people debated it.
While Kintarou at that point is understable, but if Ryoma, whom is the absolute top MS at that point, cannot beat Oni and Tokugawa, I don't think it justifies the assumption that MS can compete with them if we're outright told that Ryoma cannot beat those two. But then, I assume that a part of the reason those assumption is probably because Ryoma and Kintarou aren't that popular of characters.

Oni's explanation said that in order to amplify the pressure you feel, Ochi glares at you. In other words, if he doesn't look you in the eye, that wouldn't be the case I guess?

This is true. I forgot about it and have to go back and reread it.

I actually didn't see how the two playstyle complement each other at all, really.
That's not the point. Ochi/Kimijima/Tohno all have equal stats and were ranked from 7-9.
Its hard to say who was the best out of all them, but it can only be assumed they got their numbers because the coaches saw that Kimijima/Tohno and Ochi/Mouri were the best Doubles choices.

While Kintarou at that point is understable, but if Ryoma, whom is the absolute top MS at that point, cannot beat Oni and Tokugawa, I don't think it justifies the assumption that MS can compete with them if we're outright told that Ryoma cannot beat those two. ?
Ryoma is one of the most popular characters in the series.
Its Kintarou who's never really been that well received. Kintarou is simply somebody that isn't that popular but Konomi seems to love him as a character personally considering he originally intended to have Kintaro be the main character.

Considering we had Tezuka go TnK at that point. Honestly it had become believable that Oni wasn't as unstoppable as he felt.
Tezuka can't do 10ball, but with TnK I see him forcing Oni to bring out Kijin which is his state beyond 10ball.
Do you understand my point?
Its a reasonable assumption that 10ball wasn't the absolute barrier that it has been revealed to be back then at all.

No, I'm talking about being a popular character in this forum, not the whole fanbase. If you need proof on this, check out the argument that people bring up regarding Ryoma in the first tournament.

And about Tezuka, let me ask you this. Wouldn't Oni score with 10 ball if Tezuka can't return 10 ball? Now, Tezuka might be a bad character. If he force all 10 ball out with Phantom, he doesn't need to be able to hit 10 ball. What about Yukimura? Or Atobe? If they hit any less than 10, then 1 ball make it past them and score. It's rather simple.

Since about 10 people were involved I don't go by on MH for any popularity stuff lol.
I don't have to check, I remember most people aren't fans of Ryoma on here, but iirc I think it was just you and LetalHawk who are Tooyama fans.
I'm a Ryoma fan personally. Kintaro? Not so much, I'll admit.

Sure it seems simple at first.
But it was as if TnK was revealed as something beyond the 10ball states of Tooyama and Oni wasn't it?

Airgrimes I'm a Yukimura and Ryoma fan not Tooyama lol.

Whether TnK beats 10 ball obviously depends on the base stat of the character. I mean when Ryoma first got TnK his strongest move is Samurai Drive. Anyone who can hit 10-ball can trivially return that move. Ryoma presumably could not have beaten Tokugawa even with TnK initially, so it's clearly possible to lose to 10-ball even with TnK.

Now if we're talking about Tezuka, his base stat is obviously incredibly high. Even if he can't reach all 10 balls he could probably use a combination of Zone/Phantom to deal with it. Maybe he can even put some whacko spin on the ball to make the 10 split balls converge back to one. But TnK doesn't make him automatically able to return 10-ball.

Yeah, that's kind of the point. If it was, say, Ryoma/Yukimura/Sanada that gain the upgrade, or really, Yukimura/Sanada, I don't think the argument will be there.

I am Kintarou+Ryoma fan, really. And I want to see both of them play doubles together so much. Too bad Ryoma is bad at doubles.

Kintaro is also just as apalling, so regardless of how good either one of them are, it won't work.

Kin-Chan probably is among Konomi Sensei's Favorite characters.

Kin-Chan & Sanada keeps getting upgrades & Screentime although They're not that popular among fans. While popular characters like Fuji , Kirihara are being omitted.

Kin-Chan is a parallel for Ryoma, they are the two super rookies, they have polar opposite personalities, and their skills are pretty much equal, Kin-Chan gets power ups because Ryoma does, Konomi wants to keep them pretty even.

Sanada is a parallel for Atobe and Tezuka, the three of them are usually pretty equal, Tezuka unlocked the final muga door, Atobe created atobe kingdom, and Sanada got black aura

Kirihara was able to use his devil mode without losing his mind, that's a good upgrade

Fuji was shown losing to PoP Tezuka, that means he's going to now make a comeback with new counters and/or badass upgrades to his old counters, when Fuji loses he creates new moves that make him surpass whoever beat him before, so whatever he comes up with will be something that can possibly defeat PoP Tezuka

Yukimura's yips make matches kind of boring

What about the WOK and the Renji and Inui pair? Tachibana was my favorite character and Renji was supposed to be one of the three most powerful middle schoolers. They got a half upgrade and then faded away. Idk I like how they devloped the powerful trinity of Atobe, Tezuka and Sanada but in doing so they got rid of the doubles pairs they had developed before.

I'm confused about how strong Tanegamishima is. They compared him to Oni by saying they were even. Is that the Oni with the Kishin aura? Is that the Oni with the PoP (because if I remember properly none of the highschoolers were suprised when Oni unlocked PoP)? Is that Oni with the ten ball strike and BJK alone? This has probably been discussed before, but it's been something that seriously confuses me.

Oni used Kishin aura in order to defeat Kaji, so I guess 10 balls + BJK can't be everything he used against Tanegashima. And I don't think that anyone can have fun playing against Shuuji tbh, lol.

That being said:

So... I guess Oni didn't use his Aura for years.

It was prolly just 10 balls BJK Oni then.

That's what I thought does that mean PoP Kintaro > Tanegamishima?

I never said that.

It depends on how strong PoP is and if it really is the ultimate aura. I'd like to know how Kintarou would go into PoP playing against a guy like Shuuji.

Now that I think about it (this is offtopic but screw it), shouldn't Tanegashima be able to do a null shot as a serve?

I know I was asking it as a question. I'm just saying Kintaro played equally with Oni with only ten ball strike and BJK. Therefore PoP Kintaro>> Oni with only ten ball strike and BJK. If Tanegamishima=Oni with only ten ball strike and BJK, PoP Kintaro>> Tanegamishima.

Well noticed.
This means we have to wait and see if it is revealed roughly when the occasions Tanegashima VS Oni took place. During the end of 1st Year?
Or during the time Oni stopped using Kijin Aura.
