Seinen Ookiku Furikabutte by Higuchi Asa

Ookiku Furikabutte also seems to be a good baseball manga. It seems to be the story of a boy that has pitching capabilities complementing Goro in Major. It is marketed as the best baseball manga (if it is better than Major it is really worth continuing). Unfortunately, the Edited Manga stops at the 2nd chapter and there is no advance for the last few months.

If anyone has the raws for the future chapters I would be glad if you can point to a link for downloading them. I would like to see how the story goes. Similarly, if any group has an interest in Editing the manga (a few volumes are already available), I would also be glad if they can take one step further in continuing the Edited Manga project.

All the raws are in #lurk ya know and in really great quality too, atleast volume 1 was. I'm currently downloading volume 2 to check if it's as nice as volume 1 in quality. Because if it is the Manga Editor only have to put in the words no cleaning no anything ~. If someone is intrested in Editing it that is ;p

Edit: Yeah Volume 2 is also great quality

All I heard from my friends about this manga is that it sucks (and the anime even more), is it gonna be long? I mean, if it has less than 30 chapters in total, maybe I give him a try anyway.

In japan it has only aired 13 episodes so far and the total number of episodes has not been discussed. This anime is really cool. I tried reading the manga first, but didn't like the art that much. But when i started seeing the anime i found it really nice. Still, it's not 'Major', but it's cool anyway.

Saizen is the one fansubbing it.

Raep_time and en.tro.py are translating this manga. But now, en.tro.py dropped this project.

We only used R_T translations for Chapter 20, everything else was done by us.

This is one of my favorite seinen series. All of the characters are really well characterized, and I think that Higuchi really does a great job at capturing the subtleties of baseball. Each of the games really feels like a tense mind game.

So, the next release came out at long last. Things are getting really intense. It's nice to see Mihashi growing as a character and managing to hold up mentally even with Abe not there. Tajima is doing pretty well considering the tough position he's been put in.

Chapter 58, we're in post-anime chapters now, hurray!
How does Abe not see the point in doing those non-baseball related tasks with Mihashi?

Chp. 59 was adorable, poor Shinooka.
Chp. 60 was hilarious, "how long can you last?"
Chp. 61 I don't really care about what Haruna's team is up to.
Chp. 62 Ditto
Chp. 63 Ditto again, but at least Abe and Mihashi managed to hold a full normal conversation.

Talkin' to myself, what exactly about this is seinen?

Chp. 64 More "filler" with the Haruna vs. the twins game. I think the point of this "filler" is because whoever loses here will be the first team Nishiura goes up against in the fall tournament or whatever and they'd like to get characterization out of the way so that predestined battle will be much more emotional. I still don't care, though.

Chp. 65 "Filler" appears to be over. It seems that the game had more purpose than I orginally thought. On the other hand, goddamn Haruna, acting like he's the main character and stuff.
