So... in Ch340 it was mentioned that there exists "other humans" in the outside world.

I've got a pretty good guess what these "other humans" are like.
One look at this map is enough evidence, actually.

Given the recent popularity of the Shingeki No Kyojin manga, I wouldn't be surprised if Togashi decided to implement his own version of epic giant fights, where the human's last resort would be their nen abilities instead of the 3D-gear. Instead of the scouting legion, we have our best hunters to venture out into the outside world... to reclaim lost lands, abundant food supplies, unimaginable treasures, and most importantly, our FREEDOM~!

I think that Gon and Biscuit are aliens.It could explain why Meleoron had the impression that Gon was a monster and also why Biscuit doesn't show his true form. She is a transmuter so the beauty could be a lie. There is also the ressemblance between her and hulk Gon that Killua found.

I don't think that Biscuit is an alien. Isn't it already confirmed that this is her true form?

She uses her transmutation skills to change her appearance. However, Gon might be half-alien half-human, if you consider that we haven't heard anything about his mother. Maybe Ging had a relationship with a human-looking alien (O.O). That could explain his monstrous power to transform into his aged form.

I wrote somewhere a while back that I believed that Gon's mother is a creature of the outside. Togashi has hinted for so long at Gon's mother but Gon always chooses not to hear about it due to his love for Mito. It leaves me to wonder who his mother really is and why Togashi has chosen to make a big deal about her identity.

I love the idea of a Shingeki no Kyojin styled arc. That would be excellent and Togashi would do an amazing job with it. It also makes perect sense, since everything in the Outside seems to be giant, also it's interesting to note the parallel to the world of Shingeki no Kyojin (they live in an enclosed space to protect themselves from the Giants) in regards to there worlds, however of course HxH is much more grand in scale.

Part of me believes that the reason Ging wants to see the outside world is to find Gon's mother. I propose a theory that she had come to the known world and fell for Ging (I don't believe she is a giant, but simply a more powerful type of human, perhaps they are our size at one point in their life?) was forced out of our world perhaps by the V5 due to the tabboo laws regarding the outside and Ging has searched for a way to get to the Outside in order to search for her. I know Ging says he has different reasons for wanting to go there, but we know he lies every now and then.

Thoughts?

They are probably just going to be humans who are powerful with nen, or something like that. I don't they will look any different from normal humans. Culture will probably be different, maybe a bit primitive?

I don't think that there is normal humans there because the Chimera Ant Queen had never known of normal humans. Very mysterious!

Maybe they will look like Martians! Or it could be that the humans that lived there once no longer exist, or were wiped out.

Personally I see something more like different humanoid races living together on that continent, some civilizations still on their beginnings and others that are very advanced technically.

LOL, I just noticed that it was a map. I thought it was just a collection of pictures, like myths, but seems that it's foreshadowing from Togashi.
And I see dragons, a giant hand, giants, a colosseum and bones as big as a country.

I smell HxH going medieval. Gosh I will love next arc.
And I say outside humans are elves.

We'll see fishmen!

At the very least, we get to see Krakens and giants whales.

What if Whale island is one of those whales who is slept? O_O

Medieval did came into my mind actually.
I actually thought about that too.But it feels overused and remind me of those RPG game.>.>
I always presumed Whale Island is shaped like a whale without actually being an "actual whale".

I did though about that too.(It seem like the only way to get Kurapika involve in this)Maybe there is some kind of war that happen and some of them came to the HxH world to seek refugee.
But I don't really want that to happen since it takes away Kurapika specialness of being the lone survival.
But then again, if I have to go through seeing Kurapika becoming another sasuke from naruto. I rather see him go to the outside world and find his other clan member.
It is a mixed feeling ,alright.=.=

Personally, I feel the outside world is going to take away the specialness of the characters in the HxH world. With the outside world ,anyone who is unique, possessing incredible talents or an hax ability will automatically be connected to the outside world.

While it maybe anticlimatic and after all the hype out ,if it turns out that the humans from the outside world are just the same as the humans in the hxH world with a few exceptional strong one but more technically advance, I wouldn't mind.And that they never dare venture into the HxH world because of the same reason why no one goes to the outside world.If Togashi does it right ,I think it will work.But it will never happen.

I do admit that I have my fair share of far-fetched idea on what the outside humans are like.I did thought of something along the line as people being able to control elements like the people in "Avatar: The legend of Aang".But they are ruled by "gods" who are similar to those from Greek mythlogy. Ya,it's a weird thought.

I like it better in the anime rather than manga because it's easier to see the resemblances.

And Ging knowing ancient History, being in the top 5 of Nen, symbols that resembles a lot...I've the impression that Outside World contrary to popular belief was planned since the beginning.

Togashi is really a BOSS!!!!

I doubt we'll be able to fathom out properly,but i'll give some theories:
-It's practically obvious that Nen come from here,so someone imported this knowledge in the little world,it's surely the creator of Shingen-ryu style(don't you think water divination incredible? It's done without Nen but water is infinite).
-Humanoid bodies look like giant of the chapter 338.
-Some drawings should correspond to Nen techniques and maybe we can associate colors to those of the nen diagrams which are in ending.
