well, i saw the CES demo. and it looks very promising to me as an innovation, something that Apple has been missing (in a big way) for some years now.

-_- had a hang over while trying to check in at the airport. And the line was so long! and the airport was not airconditioned! so i was really, really, really ... ready to barf.

buti nalang a personal assistant of my mom's boss recognized me, and said his boss was also in the same flight, he would check them in and include me, and when I saw that they were "elite" flyers I grabbed the opportunity to skip the line!

I went drinking because it's the first time in a long while that I had gone back home to Bukidnon, and I really missed my high school friends, and they were out drinking I couldn't pass the chance, nor could I say no.

You can always say no. Come anyway, but not order any drinks. Then say no when they force you to.

Alchohol is not a prerequisite of friendship. No real friend will force you to do something that's bad for your health. You drink because you like it, not because you can't say no.

exactly. They're like, really really good childhood friends, the ones who just show you eyes like this and you'd accede to anything. I'm sure you have those people in your life.

Heh, Me and my friends are old enough that most of my friends know that I'm not supposed to touch any alcohol and actually get concerned and order something else for me.

Drinking's only benefit for me is the momentary loss of self-inhibitions, and even that effect is less pronounced on me. All its other effects are bad and long-term. You'll eventually learn how to socialize with the drinking crowd without touching alcohol, but health marred by alcohol is something you'll never get back.
