I did. :oh because you know, I exist in the bowels of the internet which is facebook. :p

Anyway, I wanted to throw this question out there and pit my female self against all you male of the species.

How lousy are your listening skills? hahahaha. That, and how well are you in handling PMS? :derp

facebook is the fingertips of the internet - you use it to touch the dirty things, but it's still the shallowest part of your body.

My listening skills are average. It depends on the subject and the person.

PMS is a bullshit excuse for some girls to act like complete bitches. Some take it as an excuse to suddenly become illogical and spoiled brats. When someone acts like a complete see you next tuesday, and uses PMS as an excuse, that is when I lose all respect for them. That being said though, I do have sympathy for someone who is going through their period and PMS and will make leeway for them and most of my friends dont really go over the top. The worst I had to deal with was some anxiety issues. /rant

you ever felt like your mom snapped at you for no reason when you were a kid?

or like, you did something really minor but she spanked you anyway?

THAT was it. I used to wonder why my mom would suddenly burst like wildfire on random days when all I did was not put back the scissors on her desk or something. Now I completely understand.

I'm not making it an excuse either. But wow, sometimes I just flare up over some small thing. And it's not just anger either. Sometimes I burst out laughing over a very corny joke. Or cry over NOTHING. I swear it's so tiring when your tears keep coming uncontrollably and you don't know WHY.

That's why I really appreciate my boyfriend for being the kindest person when I go through PMS- because he's like the punching bag that takes all the stress. But it's like treading through thin ice- he makes one small move and we end up in a bad fight over nothing. And a few hours after I realize wow, I was such a bitch. :sweatdrop

I was a menopause baby, so I never had to deal with PMS tantrums. LOL! :super

PMS is part of the reason to why I'm not interested in getting a significant other. I don't want to have to deal with that BS every month, it's just not worth it. :hip

I think MD is trying to achieve diarrhea...or at least some gassiness.

I don't know the effects of either Pineapple or okra. They aren't even exceptional in whatever nutrition sources are they? Like, pineapple is good and all, but it doesn't have special attributes like say, aloe vera, or high in fiber like pears, etc. etc. :/ Or maybe I just don't know?

And okra? What's so special about okra too? :arf

@Paper,
Oh come on. List your reasons why you are not out for the hunt on a significant other. (girl or boy? :3c)

Girl...but I have a special homo-makeout clause for RDJ...

I have several reasons, and some of them will make me sound elitist/ like a total jerk.

1. I expect a return on my investments and i hate gambling. Investing time, money, and emotions on a venture with a high failure rate is a no-no for me.
2. I can't be with someone who doesn't listen to and appreciate the music I listen to (60's-80's rock n' roll, hair metal, heavy metal, death metal, grunge, power metal, 90's alternative, 80's-90's pop, thrash metal)
3. As an atheist, I can't be with anyone who is religious/spiritual...It'll just get on my nerves
4. I can't be with anyone who doesn't know how to eat. "Oh, you take your steak well done? and what's that? You like to cut up your already overcooked noodles, so that you can eat it with your spoon? NEXT!"
5. I can't be with anyone who isn't at least as fluent as I am in conversational English. Being in a relationship is stressful enough, having to translate everything mentally is just balls.
6. I need someone who will accept the fact that I will always value my bros over her (I only use the term "bro" for friends that are more family than friend; people I'd gladly risk death for).
7. PMS..."What? This shit won't stop till you reach 40??? FUCK THAT!"
8. I do not wish to procreate, only to fuck. My family is riddled with bad genes, and I consider it to be the ultimate form of public service to remove those said genes from the table.

I wont go so far as to say it puts me off relationships since most girls I know tend to handle it okay. If its excessive and shit, than thats no longer pms but pmdd and they take pills. So yea...Your last one did make me laugh, thats public consideration on another level. xD

Btw, have you guys seen that VICE series on youtube?

Anyway they got a show on HBO and the first half of the first episode was on the philipines. A tad more 'dramatic' than their youtube stuff though. I thought you guys might be interested.

your list sounds legit. I mean, it's easy to make up one. And if I should, erm... but I don't. :p

If it would be based on statistics though, I tend to fall for the lazy boys- like, either unambitious, or if they are, they're too lazy to do anything about it. lol. I don't know why all my boyfriends were like that!

I had an ex that wasn't particularly smart and would text me in awkward grammar but we were together for 9 months because he was a hot vocalist for an alternative band :p And his stage performance of Switchfoot's Dare you to Move one summer night when I was 19, remains to be one of the most memorable nights and most romantic experiences I've ever felt in my life. haha.

If there's anything I'd gathered from this past, is that even if you were not meant to be with a person forever, the magic you share at that moment in time make for good memories. :lovebunny

funny. we're now at an age where our parents either pester you to get married or make you send them more money.

my parents are all "get off that ass, get your degree this year and get yourself some hard-earned moolah" season.

At least they're leaving you alone, right? you have a job there right? that's why you're in that place far far away? I forget your motives for going there other than a job.

At this age, we're already expected to be able to pull at least 80% of our own weight...
