unpopular series huh? i don't know, i do see a lot of crappy speed scans lately (for the past 12 months), and it makes me wanna, you know, get back with some, i'm not saying mine's not bad, but at least i know mine's decent and organized.

first thing i look at a scan, typesetting. if the typesetting sucks, then everything sucks. lately, everyone sucks. it's not like the typesetting's the only problem though. i think everything about these new batch of speed scanners is wrong. just wrong man. it makes a seasoned Manga Editor furious. and newer and worser ones pop-up. the raws have never been better, in the past raws were ugly as hell, but everyone still managed to make a good product. now they have better raws, but the Edited Mangas just suck. pages are disorganized, cropped wrong, page sizes inconsistent, levelling inconsistent, cleaning inconsistent... and apparently everyone uses the filter WRONG. to top it off a dozen people pick the same series to scanlate, which is just beyond me. and everybody seems to think that since weekly scans are out we don't need to do the tanko scans. we HAVE to do tanko scans, it's for archiving purp.... that's why i feel bad man.

You're probably in your late teens or early twenties. There was a time when "Mga Kababayan Ko" was on air as much as "My Heart Will Go On" was in its heyday.

I hate rap (and hip hop and R and B), too, but Francis M.'s rap was decent because it had social commentary in it.

I know "Mga kababayan ko" (again, from the Royal commercial). It's the only Francis M song I know, apart from the one he did with P.O.T.

didn't know you hated it that much. hip-hop is a great genre, but of course we lived in an era where hip hop just went down the drain. listen to indie and underground hiphop instead paperboy. and francis M is a pioneer of hiphop here. not only his beats but the lyrics and content are great. kaleidoscope world will go down as one of the best OPM songs in history. he'll be remembered forever. RIP

which reminds me, he was supposed to perform at the E-heads reunion. and ely and him are making an album together. man this makes me feel down. rest in peace kiko.
