Alistair: Alistair's mother's pendant
Sten: Sten's Sword
Dog: none... It loves you even if you treat it like crap...

I don't know what other items trigger a scene.

I've already unlocked Morrigan and Leliana in two different play-throughs. what's odd is that if you're an elf, the ladies become your size all of a sudden, but if you're a dwarf they stay the same and look like pedos.

that sells. id be sure to want to play that soon too...

If Wynne is the old mage lady, she is somehow automatically exempt from romance options.

Think Neverwinter Nights.

There arn't any "real turns" in the game since they move at the same time. Besides, you only really need to pause if you're using a rogue or caster mage (seeing as arcane warriors can just wail on anything).

Neverwinter Nights had rounds which are basically turns, and even though you were doing actions at the same time, you had different actions per round, which means that faster characters would act more than others. Basically Chrono-Trigger with the option of just letting it all go.

So I'm assuming it's like that then?

I think I'm going to get this.

Sort of, it's not as heavily based on D&D as NWN... More like the bastard child of WoW and Baaldur's gate.

GET IT! I've finished it twice and I'm still not tired of it!

Pros:
-Lots of replay value
-Great graphics
-Great voice acting
-Community mod capable (e.g. custom community content like NWN)

Cons:
-Mechanics not as in depth as other games (e.g. NWN, Baaldur's gate 1 and 2, WoW)
-Original campaign is too short (IMO)
-Official DLC campaigns too short, little payoff
-Not much community made DLC as of now.
