what brand at 22k??

really now hunt, i thought you still lived with your parents. :p
Forgot the brand. Saw it on MoA.

I still do live with them, but I'm doing *some* of the house chores. Really wish they'd bought a spinner/dryer combo, but with that our water bill's gonna go hiking...

touche, MD. I actually made an experiment to prove that isang banlaw thing. It's awesome.

Figured all softeners would work like that but apparently only the isang banlaw as it claims really does do the trick in one rinse.

Okay, just fyi, I am now rereading HxH. Somehow the awesomeness of the anime art has made me too expectant of the manga art... :s I know I dropped the manga for this reason but I am persevering.

@bb
I would certainly NOT go back down when I have made it that far up.

@kuro
The Death Road?

Wasn't it featured on Top Gear's South America special?

Long, but not lazy for me. :D.

Accidentally hearing one of those Lady Guyguy songs on Wowowee makes me want to run away really fast and find something to do.

On an unrelated side note. Boys Before Flowers has the most retarded soundtrack of any kdrama I've ever seen, plus the leads aren't that great to begin with. This is coming from a guy who thinks kdramas are superior to anything locally made so far (except for Lobo). Wonder what's all the hype behind it.

Yeah, "crappy" effects, but Lobo's story and script is actually good and the dialogue is believable for a telenovela.

Besides, it's not like there are any local series with decent special effects. Zorro (if you're gonna film a seaside scene in green screen do it right), Zaido, Darna (both of 'em), the Komiks and Agimat series, and Panday come into mind. GMA's fantasy series are especially bad, I have not ever seen a decent scene in one of them. I wonder if they're deliberately practicing making sucky effects.

I mean, Maskman's special effects are way better, and that was like 20 years ago.

The only one other decent special effect-laden series that comes into memory was Spirit Warriors, but that wasn't quite as popular as I had hoped.

I guess the masses just have awful taste.

Im surprised no one here has thought of that. They do almost everything else to scam benefits. xD

Well, on your country, your ministers and representatives waste all their time nitpicking on laws already active/ soon to be passed. Apparently that doesn't happen in Japan.

Man, I don't get it why these politicos insist on parallel manual counting.

They're too busy changing prime ministers to do that :D.

On a side note, Japan and South Korea both have very low birth rates, so they make laws in order to encourage their people to procreate. Both countries actually have ministers who do nothing but encourage birth rates.

On another side note, the Philippines is the 12th most populous country in the world.

politicos insist on parallel manual counting because they can pay the officials who manually tabulate the ballot counts to, well, make them win. Of course, given that the media has made sure the electronic voting system is as trustworthy as the current president, who would believe its results?
