lol suddenly I remember a conversation with a school friend of mine last night. We were looking at a common friend's status on facebook; it says "@ the cementery" so my friend rofl'd about it and said he laughs at the Brit way of spelling. I told him you Brits spell it cemetery, and more likely use graveyard than cemetery.

doood, the chef you see in the commercials isn't even a chef. -_- which I figured out, of course. They do have an executive chef, yeah, but he's just for research. When in comes to the actual stores there are the cooks. I don't have anything personal against them, cooks are always nice people, but its the system! the system!!

i won't even begin on food safety... mark my word guys... gre*nwhich is the only HACCP-certified JFC brand. you better... stop being part of the C market then, if you don't wanna contaminate yourself.

fyi, gardenia is HACCP-certified as well. I love gardenia too bad they don't have Vis-Min distributions..

I've been to the Gardenia plant before, it's so cool in there, what with all the safety precautions...

Oh, and Mang Inasal has already been bought by JFC. Are they certified?

So, aside from the chefs that do the research, what do people like you do working in fastfood? You do the supply management stuff?

Supply management is all in the hands of the branch managers, IIRC. AFAIK chefs "supervise" the kitchen.

re:food safety- We're Filipinos, we're immune to most of the shit that systems like HACCP are made to get rid of. Food Safety is VERY important, but don't tell me that you've never encountered a rat/roach in a restaurant and didn't even bother to stop eating. Hahaha!

HACCP is quite hard to maintain since it costs a lot of money and it's kind of sad how it's in GW and not JB... I love JB.
