Your prof must be a sadist . GUIs in C++ is crazy, heh. Mostly because of the number of options that are available to you, and that you have to decide on from the get-go. The C++ Hello World application in windows is like 20 lines long .

On the other hand, the total control is why I can see how he can call it fun.

hell I remember programming my thesis completely on java. A nightmare. It was about 10,000 lines separated in 38-40 classes, when compiled it was a program about 150 Mb fat.

Never again, I swore.

@hunt- Areal ace is a good move, specially if you have STAB on your side. I normally replace it with Brave Bird at later levels anyway.

Empoleon is a lackluster sweeper when compared to pokemanz like Infernape and Suicune. Infernape not only has more speed, but has more power, and Suicune has more utility.

Haha. I went with tank/sweep teams with STAB in mind. I'd have 2 tanks (e.g. torterra, foretress, etc...) to get some status effects in, then I'd finish off with a sweeper (e.g. infernape, blaziken, etc...).

I had this really crazy dream today where I logged onto MH and i found out that the pinoy thread was deleted. Another thread had took its place. I panicked and sent many PM's - at this point the story gets hazy - eventually it seemed there was a problem in the real world and i ended up having to battle NJT. We were on par with each other, but then came the emotional "shonen believe in yourself" moment, and he was rehabilitated (from god knows what) and reopened the thread. We all celebrated after that...


....I need to get out more.

yeah. I blame poor upbringing, because they got everything they wanted when they were kids, but when they grew up, reality hit them hard (you can't get everything in life) and then he got his own family issues.

In big companies, you don't get to save your files where you want to save them. So backups are impossible. Probably the same case with MD.
