Well anyway. It's winter anime season guys. Any interests in the new titles?

I've actually got a list of probably-interesting-most-likely-I-will-check-out titles. But then I remembered I haven't watched any of the autumn releases except Mitsudomoe... And Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge (which if you haven't watched the 2 seasons of Arakawa I suggest you do, then read the manga to boot).

Here's my list anyway:

Gosick
Fractale
Wandering Son<---- This I must watch, for the love of slice-of-life!

and possibly, just possibly, I'll start watching Kimi ni Todoke. I dropped the manga, that's why I'm having doubts with this one...

Oh, and in about 2 years' time I'm planning on replacing my dependable laptop for something much more edgier (in specs) and has longer battery life. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

My lappy battery life is degrading, it went from 2 and a half hours (or 3 was it dunno ) fully charged to like an hour or something now. =/

im starting to hate my lenovo b450. i thought it had the reliable ibm thinkpad hardware blueprint as its core, but the thing is almost garbage. name your top 5 what-i-hate-about-my-laptop complaints and im sure at least 3 of those are applicable to that crappy piece of plastic folder.

oh I just have an MSI wind for mobile internet and manga reading, and minor photoshop jobs.

Sigh I want to upgrade my PC. But my specs are good- and still good even if it was a power PC 2 years ago. Besides, I shouldn't need these specs as I'm not playing games with it except sims 3, and I don't do CAD or 3d stuff anymore like back in my ugh, arki days.

Still I think it should be performing a lot better now that I don't deal with those heavy programs. But it's even slower this time around... then I noticed it already had a different sound... yun pala both my fans aren't working!

Somehow getting it fixed is too bothersome than just say... buying a new one that can play SC2 with ease. But yeah, I don't have the money.

Men are all about reliability and performance. Hence the gigantic screens.

well I could totally understand you'd want a powerful laptop if you did work there- and by work, like, geek work.

I'm quite content with my PC (er, until recently that is). My classmates used to have big-ass powerful laptops as well but I understood they needed it when they crammed in school, while I had somebody else do it for me.

If I get the money for a laptop, considering I don't do archi stuff anymore, maybe I could just buy a pretty powerful (not so powerful, just so) laptop (say, a vaio) laptop and buy a chord to connect to a 50" flatscreen {that i'd also have to buy} I'd stick to my wall.

ahahaha. whatever. Dream big, agnes, dream big.

checked out the link in its post. android tablets are so NO for me. having a touchscreen phone is enough - i want to play my Call of Duty using keyboard and mouse, not dragging my fingers across the screen (doubtful that will happen, as most tablets have only decent specs)

I have a vaio.


And its so completely fucking crap its unbelievable. I upgraded to windows 7, and not only does half the built in vaio software not work, you get some really really random problems. Not long ago i had to disable this driver they had installed, it seemed to make the assumption - after my move - that the battery inside the laptop was not a vaoi one and it was like the windows genuine thing, but even more annoying. All because they want you to have a vaio battery, but even if you have one it could still fuck up. Wtf up with that. They still havent updated the vaoi software, its specs are average and overpriced. But it was a present so ill not complain....too much. :C

@I dont use android tablets either. In fact i dont think i have ever used a tablet pc. =/

Well, chicks in general aren't in to geeking out with leet specs and insane overclocking capabilities... So they go for the pretty ones (whole reason to why so may of them buy macs).

I don't think it's a good idea to have an overclocked laptop over here, anyway.

I mean, unless you don't mind not being able to use your unit without multiple cooling pads for half of the year.

Imma stick with my 'ole self-built desktop rig.

that's what i also noticed to the money-loaded fashionistas in the philippines; they go for the brands most used by hollywood movies.
