btw, spiderman 3 opens tomorrow right? but it's labor day, that sucks, wish the movies won't take a break. i've been waiting for that for two years now, and pirates of the carribean 3, and harry potter 5, and national treasure 2, and the hobbit.... dizzy

so delayed? wtf! oh well....thankfully one of my friends reserved seats for spiderman 3 for me! i'm not looking forward to the hobbit...it's not gonna be directed by peter jackson, and i'm really skeptical....

kinda too, but jackson got way over his head nowadays, specially when he became ultra thin, i liked his ideas when he still looked like a fat nerd, now he's gotten more grumpy all of a sudden (guess that's normal for a new look huh? ). anyway i wish his idealistic perspective of a tolkienesque world would carry on to the new director. his ideas are gorgeous.

and marami ding gusto akong kunin sa basket because of my size for defense...and they were disappointed na di ako pwede....

finally heard rainier's dub....and the latest script sucks...big time! for those who made this tagalog dub one of the worst....

imagine, ung eksena sa grades na scene, sobrang binaboy! hindi nakuha ung humour....and mispronounced pa ni rainier ung month of may! come on! as in sinabi nyang "MAY" with "A" as in "apple" and " 'MAY' taong nakadapa"! how worse can it get!

yo we were talking about upcoming movies, but yeah, im saving about 2000php to buy book seven! honestly, in the past i was so obssessed with harry potter, waiting for two years, i think i was gonna go junkie, i cant imagine not reading it

ok, I have no time to read all the posts, but I skimmed it over.

I have a new sports buddy, si yoniekai

I only follow sports, but I suck as well. I suck at sports even in video games.

arrghh, I have a research paper due in 12 hours, plus a midterm. sige, peace!

spiderman 3 was cool. the plot was so-so but the battles were the best in the series. if they're gonna make a 4 (it's up to 7 right?) they have to make the battles more exciting... lot of drama in this one, but i like the newyorky atmosphere

very much like the same with KTS and l4pb. Not into sports although I have my own share of experiences for basketball, volleyball and others back in high school, I wasn't really that much of a sports junkie.

not much into movies either. not much to say here. I don't know why I even mentioned this

I know I should be saving up money to buy the last book, but i JUST can't afford spending almost Php 2000 for one book, which we all know would have more copies at a lower price in the following months. If it's a collector's edition book or any other hard to find books, then I'll probably think about it.

I HATE MY BOSS! I WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE A GRAND TIME WATCHING HIM GET TORTURED BY GETTING DRAGGED BY A CHARIOT DRIVEN BY 6 HORSES OR LEAVING HIM IN THE WORLD OF ICHI THE KILLER FOR A GOOD DOSE OF S&M.

@neil gaiman fans: STARDUST is going to be movie! well maybe you know about this before me ... i hope gaiman would be part of the movie makers to preserve his atmosphere

@harry potter: bakashi, that's why i love the chinese. book 6 had an ebook scanned by a chinese 24 hours after the release! haha. i feel bad stealing, but wtf

I do hope I can douse the flame with manga but I have to go to work later in the evening and I just checked my email a while ago and saw an email from my boss that reignited the flame.

that's what I did with book 6. I read it via ebook DL'd from the net then bought the book 2 years later! At least I bought it!
Maybe I'll do that again this year. I don't want to be spoiled for the last time in the Harry Potter series.

for book 6, i kept refreshing the wikipedia entry for a blow by blow account although i didn't believe ung nagpost na dumbledore is a pedophile for harry...

but i got my e-book copy mga hapon ng day na un...grabe ang bilis...and for book 5 mga lunch time, meron nang online copy...wonder kung gaano kaya kabilis for book 7...

not actually the hardbound book type of guy. Mahal kase e. the miser inside me kicks in all the time when the price of something I want to buy exceeds the three digit boundaries. Also before I read the ebook, I made sure that it was the correct and unabridged one. It's not a spoiler per se since it's the book in it's entirety itself.

I read it immediately from an ebook (pirated version) for fear of being spoiled. Pero I was spoiled in the middle of reading kaya no use din. This time I'll be more vigilant.

i am the hardbound guy. but you know, it depends on my mood on the week before the release, like there's a party, or hang out, or date (i wish ), i hope it's gonna be below 2000! but a new harry potter book is bound to be expensive... i cant stand reading books other than hardbound, i cant imagine well.

i hope the ebook scan would be a real scan, not a text scan, cause it's the closest to the real thing , bit big on the filesize but that can be managed. the ebooks dont even have the chapter pictures

potek! gaiman fan ka pala? yeah i knew about stardust being turned into a movie, and i'm really getting impatient!

@BBS- gaiman is god! he's what stephen king is to suspense novels, to fantasy novels! if you really wanna get a feel of his writing, read american gods....IMO it's his best book yet!

2. stardust
3. american gods
4. neverwhere

and cmon! jackson changed! haha. compare his interviews when he was fat and he was like the smiling buddha ala coach anzai, now he's become grumpy and serious. anyway his works still mesmerize me. what a great director.

@yonie- i'll pretend you didn't say that *twitch*..... as for gaiman, i was talking about the books when i said that american gods was the best, if i were to compare all his work then it would most definitely have american gods and sandman tied on 1st place!
