Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

american gods and the sandman series have a whole lot in common di ba? gaiman is one the guys i always look up to, so open minded, so literate. must be the most literate guy in history

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

now we agree on something....i'm not quite done with neverwhere, but so far i like it! i'm planning on getting his new one, Anansi Boys!

well if memory serves me right sandman met olfather and shadow....but then again that could just be my imagination....

[yoniekai]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

anansi boys is so fun! reading the first chapter, you'd feel excited! im not gonna spoil anything, but that just proves that gaiman has the ability to create any genre any culture any atmosphere when he wants it

---

i forgot to list it. i thnk i like neverwhere better than anansi boys, but that doesnt mean it's bad. it's way good actually. he said there'd be a sequel to shadow's life. looking forward to it!!!

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

oh god! a sequel! OMFG i think i just came to the idea of it! oohhhhhh........

btw-

Spoiler

some peoole consider Shadow to be a reincarnation of Balder, you agree?

[yoniekai]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

yes it's very likely, and actually obviously since

Spoiler

balder is odin's son

[Paper]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

not just that!

Spoiler

Balder is the god of innocence and purity. shadow is depicted as a manchild...and he follows orders without question. also, in norse mythology it's said that when Ragnarok happens, all of the gods and giants will die, and then balder will be reborn along with a few other humans to remake the world. this technically happens in the also 3 chapters of the book! i was soooo psyched!

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

hahaha. gaiman is just so amazing. remember the sandman "dream country" chapters? and the caliope? and the lucifer damn so many great moments

[Paper]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

yep, gaiman IS mr.ibis (or thoth if you wanna get all technical)!!!!! i can't remember much of the sandman series...i only read it once....i gotta read it again! what i loved was the one where sandman met john constantine (from hellblazer)! 2 characters that i find really kickass in the same pages! i nearly wet myself!

[hunter71485]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

disk memory space? two choices:

1) ADD ANOTHER HARD DRIVE

2)DELETE UNNEEDED FILES

yun lang.

[TechnoMagus]

Re: The Pinoy Hang Out Thread v. 4

re: disk space
3) try a linux live cd....

1. delete full length porn movies

@TM: actually ang lurk hindi naman pala kumpleto sa lahat. torrent is the best place to find anything. Edited Mangas in Edited Manga info sites are not listed when the Manga Editor did not identify himself, so lots of gaps in lists of older manga scans

the maker of p2p is a genius. no more bandwidth sharing? pure genius. in the future filehosters like rapidshare and megaupload are dead
