@malls- are a breeding ground for closet gay people, "cono" people, and pickpockets...in other words people that society doesn't need more of.... malls are also a place where rich people spend money on frivolous things... anyone willing to throw money away like that should be impoverished to make them learn the true value of money! join me in boycotting these filthy cesspools where people go to be "in"!

[woody_green]

WHAATTT!!! Dumby's gay!!! OMG!!! One of my fave characters is gay... I knew it I knew it I knew it....

take arms my brother!

you're right, lots of social climbers in the malls... on the jeep on the way to the mall, i see lots of girls wearing all these skimpy brand new attention-getting-but-not-quite-positive-pathetic-attempt-at-trendsetting clothes. and they're on the jeep. *sigh* they should follow my example, when i go to the mall, i only change my shorts to pants and wear a hat. plain old house shirt, slippers, and watch a movie, aaah... and i dont even eat at the movies, nor drink, might go to the toilet in the middle of a fight scene

[Paper]

@yonie- lol, i only go to malls to do the following things
1. buy strings
2. watch movies
3. buy books
4. groceries

i hate malls and what society has made them into...they used to stand for convenience, but now they stand for corporate capitalism and social degeneration.....sigh....

[Musashi Gen]

Hahaha...kun dito ka sa Cebu, Ayala is totally para sa social elites! Puro mga mayaman and you can't wear shorts compared to SM Cebu. As usual, I go to malls to EAT and to BUY!

[hunter71485]

nga pala, bawal mga muslim tenants sa SM malls, fyi(iydk). nakasulat yun sa isang (malaking) tarpauline dito sa taytay. hm.... hindi kaya bombahin ito sa opening?

@mall rant
tama lahat ng sinabi niyo! dahil ang mga nasa taas ng social ladder e hindi mo madalas makikita sa mall. they're in bars, resto, etc. in libis, alabang atbp. karamihan ng nasa mall e mga parents/guardians dala mga kids, saka yung mga pesteng EB ng ka-textmates...

@dumbledore issue
sa una palang duda nako ke jk rowling. ngayon tama na hinala ko.

@karirinig ko lang kanina

[baboysai]

@yonie, I rofl-ed at your spoiler post. I almost cried too. Man. Just one letter makes all the difference.

re:malls,
ah, I beg to disagree though. True, malls are way past the booming period, and a few years ago have stretched the limits of commercialism. There just had to be more than shops, shops, shops!!! But I am quite amazed at how they've made a comeback. See, malls are not simply just malls now. They're not just a bunch of shops put together in a BIG SHOE BOX OF A BUILDING these days. Mall giants have come up with a new plan to lure people into commercialism, and that's LIFESTYLE.

Yep, the reshaping of urban landscapes these days are indeed fascinating. They did try to build down for a while and make town squares and small village-type shopping buildings but it only worked out for some. However, the new malls in the country today are selling not just the air con and the clothes now. There are gardens and al fresco dining, and coffee. Hell, even apartments are being built as extensions to malls.

I wouldn't mind living in a kind of place where I can get my coffee on the ground floor, or 5 min walk to the movies. With gardens to boot.

and, I do go to the mall sometimes just because I enjoy the anonymity. I mean, the place is a mall, you can be whoever you want to be because people don't know you, and they practically don't care. I go to malls wearing shorts, a shirt, and slippers. Sometimes it's all just about buying capacity. There's really nothing to prove in a mall. So if anyone's there for some social climbing, it's not really the right place.

[Paper]

i also boycott coffee shops....little corporate terrors...theres only one way to drink it: black (imo). i just have a deep loathing for malls...mainly since i hate kids, social climbers, and thieves....and those people that wear skimpy outfits, theres just no decency in that! though i agree that social degeneration isn't just in malls....i also boycott places that so called socialites go to...it's all a sham into gettin you to become like them, and be dead inside! i'd rather be dead inside of my own choice than have society suck it out of me!

i'm a HUGE fan of convenience....but i don't think convenienve has anything to do with noisy little kids, social climbers, thieves, and trend whores (yes there is a diff bet them and social climbers)

[baboysai]

have you guys been to the "will naruto be the strongest?" thread? people are getting really fired up there, hehe.

i love the mall tho, it's the people i hate there... and really, i get weird-ass looks all the time. "look at that really plain casual clothing! dis-gusting!" hehehe... oh hey musashi gen, i've been to the malls in cebu and DAMN! it's like ugly people arent allowed to get inside the mall, like they're filtering them or something. the way they dress, your malls are like our discos
