FINISHED WITH THE INTERVIEW!

I don't know if I got the job in that interview. Actually it's just a test, then they'll just call me if I pass. That's the time for the interview. But I seriously don't like the atmosphere there. i mean, it's good dahil puro babae and kasama ko. kaso I'm troubled dahil nga puro babae sila.

anyway, I went to another office that I applied for last July. Lo! When I went there, I was asked what position was I applying for. So I asked: "What are the other positions open." they said a network maintenance guy is also needed. so i said: "Sign me up for both positions! Heheh!"

I do not need to question your sexuality.... But why are you troubled? Are they eye candies? Mas madaling pakitunguhan ang babae... Most of the time...

it's not a matter of sexuality. It's a matter of social skills and preference. I can get along fine with girls but I can't joke around with them the way we do if we're all guys. I can't talk of "guys things" in front of them. And siempre, I may get OP. naririnig ko pa lang usapan nila kanina, puro kakikayan, puro tungkol sa anak, sa boypren...san naman ako lulugar nun?

And about being eye candies--not so much. girls in Makati are still better.

i agree with bakashi, i cant work well with girls, i have to, what's the term, lower my level in order for them to relate it sucks when you have to be sensitive to everything they have to say. but if they're HOT you know, it's manageable.

ah man another grad party tonight.... i'm getting........ guilty conscience or something... i'm slacking off...

kung maganda ang pasweldo. e kung katulad na naman dati na mababa na yung sweldo, para pa kong tuod na walang makausap? di na lang.

tsaka sa work naman usually, kapag masaya ka naman sa environment mo, kahit di mataas sweldo ok lang e. a basta bahala na!

EXACTLY! You have to almost agree with most of what they say or else they'll throw tantrums and such. I mean throw tantrums if you have a "K" to throw tantrums. but if you weigh 250 lbs, please be careful or the floor may collapse. And it ain't cute

Yonie! don't feel guilty! namnamin mo na ang pagka graduate mo! dahil di na yan mauulit. at kapag nasa corporate world ka na, you can't do any of those things anymore. (well pede pa din naman pero di na masyado)

eh sure! but then you'll end up wasting more money from your parents' pockets.
But personally I think studying after compulsory schooling years is not enjoyable for the most part. I dunno. I just feel like that.

man i envy you bakashi, you're calls keep on coming! me, i have yet to receive one... i'm thinking this week of withdrawing everything and reapply with a better resume, plus a portfolio.

no need to be envy yonie. You just graduated. companies always want employees who already have the experience.

too bad for you guys there, you didn't even have OJT's. If you want to beef up your resume, include all of your achievements in college. say, your program which won you an award (you did win an award right?).

Also, if you're writing a killer resume, it should be backed up by a killer cover letter. your cover letter (and resume) gets you an interview, while your interview gets you the job.

tsaka, ano lang ba naman yung pinapasukan ko? Online English teacher sa mga chekwang koreano? anybody who has a good English background can get that job.

btw yonie, why not try it here in Manila? It IS FAR but you'll have more choices here.

yeah i need to fill that experience part of the resume. but since it's pretty far-fetched now i need to compile all my impressive works instead, and maybe make some more this week... put it in the portfolio

manila is great man, i'd love to go there but i prefer my target to be cebu than manila. if cebu sucks manila is my next priority, but for now, cebu. it was supposed to be bacolod > cebu > manila

BTW do you have Accenture there in Bacolod or Cebu? Accenture is an equal opportunity company. It hires programmers, developers, or what not even if they aren't a graduate of IT. Plus they don't care if you have previous experience or not. As long as you pass their exam and interview.

The only catch is a 2 year bond with them.

yeah man accenture is like the top company to go to for us comsci. but they only have the office in manila i believe, maybe they have in cebu? but as always the rumors of accenture squeezing out manpower are rampant btw bakashi, my older brother got out of a 2 year bond, he's working in manila, he got out of the bond in about months to join a better company. i'm told bonds are nothing, you can just talk to your boss about it!

Is that bond in Accenture? I heard accenture is really strict with that. But most bonds are crap as far as I know. It's just a way to scare employees. But if your boss doesn't cover you up, you're in deep shit for breaching a contract.
