i would like to be the invisble man like in thrilerbark and not just to peek.
because im so hard to catch i wont be afraid for my life so i would do what ever i want. it can be part of a cool crew.or somthing like hawk-free spirit pirate(without the attachment to WG).

I wouldn’t want to work for the WG neither would I enjoy or feel comfortable as a marine soldier tbh.

As a pirate I would welcome the natural dangers that come my way 8D, learn and grow from the obstacles I obliterate on my path to “true justice and freedom” , explore and learn all sorts of things from each island/region I visit, try all sorts of yummy food, maybe learn a language or two , discover as much as I can from the “void century”, collect a load of cool dials lol and the adventures with my nakama will be the greatest thing I would treasure in the end of it all. ^___^

Probably start out as a marine. If I somehow manage to get promoted high enough (let's say vice admiral ~ admiral rank) and begin to learn about the corruption in world government (or if I somehow land a job near SA and see slave trade), I may switch sides. Or I might decide that corruption is worth the stability in the world, preferable to endless war between nations. It probably would depend on how far the corruption goes.

But, let's face it. Most marines and civilians probably don't know about the corruption in world government.

of course i'd either have to become strong quick or probably get kicked out because i'd die before i would break my morals to uphold what the world government in this manga calls "justice"
I would be more like a Smoker, I'll go by my own sense of justice.

And I'd probably get in a fight with any pirate I see just because I love to fight, but won't arrest unless I deem them evil according to my standards.

Tough choice, but I'd be a pirate. Not a pirate like Kidd, who just kills everyone and doesn't give a seagull's poop. I would be a pirate like Luffy. I would do anything to protect my nakama, sail the seas just for the adventures and have fun and be free. Who knows, maybe I'll be invited to the Shichibukai and make fun of all you Marine recruits

Neither.... Living a boemian live would not suit me in the least, I'd regret it forever if I lived a pirates live. Even if I had the choice I would not become something like a profesional sports player, I'd feel I'd be wasting my live. Being a marine or military man would suck too, I would not be one either in OP world nor in real life. I'd feel like I am wasting my life living for something like a government or nation (no offense to the people who do that though, it's just that such a life would not fit me). I guess I am too selfish to be a military man but not quite enough to be a pirate.

Neither... like someone said before, a think i would be a part time bounty hunter.
Assuming that i was really strong, even without a DF(like rayleigh, mihawk, shanks, etc). I would travel the seas with freedom, make some friends, help who i want(pirate, marine or revolutionary, whoever i feels like is right in the case) and occasionally take down some guy with a bounty, just to make the living

There is nothing good about being a hollow lol. You literally don't even have a heart since your chest is "hollow". It's not quite the same, at least pirates can be associated with adventure, freedom and treasure. That said, I wouldn't be a shinigami either for the same reasons I would not be a marine. I'd consider a captain position considering I'd be able to do whatever the fuck I want though.

and aside from what pirate/marine can do (that all people seemingly look from that angle), I'm looking at another perspective. I'm amazed with Oda, well, the way he set up the character. I mean we can't easily say ''oh because Luffy is the protagonist, all who oppose him are villain''. in comparison BLEACH (I'm not mocking it, infact I pretty much like it), we can easily tell a hollow is evil.

anyway dear host, can you put for me REVOLUTIONARY ARMY? I'd like to be one of them.

i think that would fall under neither. i picked neither mainly because i wouldn't want to be in the marines since i hate the fact of fighting someone else fight for them. And being a pirate is great i wouldn't have a problem with it, but constantly being hounded by marine would get on my nerves, i mean even if you don't do anything wrong your still gunna get picked on by the marines simply because you got a stupd flag with a skull on it. so in my opinion i would just roam the sea with no flag and have a free adventure.

Thanks God I live in a poor and peacefully country who prefers to maintain a dialogue than blow things up. Anyway, i already was excused from the army, so no problems for me..

I'd be a pirate, adventurous, nomadically making trading bases or restaurants here and there to make my living, and depart for more adventures shortly after each little settlings made.

But you know, it made me want to make a game-fanfic consisting of us members, as marines, pirates or anything in OP world. Each member made a summary of his own characteristics or ability, and make intertwining paths. Would it be too long or boring? Anyone interested in this kind of fanfic?

Marine. Judging from the results, I'd have a hell of a lot more people to fight :P

Being a dog of the government ain't so bad. You just gotta find the right CO (I'm thinking Garp or Smoker...). Besides, both marines and pirates have to do things they don't want to, and nobody said you had to sell your soul to join the military. They might own your ass, but they can't own your heart.

EDIT: Can't forget the whole fighting for people who can't fight; I can definitely dig that.

I went with Pirate, but that isn't to say I'm not low down enough to accept a position as Shichibukai if I felt it would benefit me.
