I hope this is the right forum to pop this question. I am a mediocre poker player and I played most of my career Hold'em, but I registered in this Omaha tournament and so far I kicked ass, I was 1st most of the tournament and at the final table I had triple the chips than the 2nd.

Then I had this hand:
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Mr.Cristian7 [4d 3c Tc As]
cutekaka: folds
khaloo: folds
cbfishhead: folds
Mr.Cristian7: raises 1600 to 3200
aramis321: folds
Iceroad10: calls 3200
JAEMILIAA: folds
ooops1: folds
dogleg456: folds
*** FLOP *** [5s 2h 8s]
Mr.Cristian7: bets 1600
Iceroad10: calls 1600
*** TURN *** [5s 2h 8s] [4s]
Mr.Cristian7: bets 1600
Iceroad10: raises 1600 to 3200
Mr.Cristian7: raises 1600 to 4800
Iceroad10: raises 14855 to 19655 and is all-in
Mr.Cristian7: calls 14855
*** RIVER *** [5s 2h 8s 4s] [Qs]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Mr.Cristian7: shows [4d 3c Tc As] (a straight, Ace to Five)
Iceroad10: shows [Ts 4h Ad 3s] (a flush, Queen high)
Iceroad10 collected 52660 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 52660 | Rake 0
Board [5s 2h 8s 4s Qs]
Seat 1: aramis321 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: Iceroad10 showed [Ts 4h Ad 3s] and won (52660) with a flush, Queen high
Seat 3: JAEMILIAA (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 4: ooops1 (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 5: dogleg456 (big blind) folded before Flop
Seat 6: cutekaka folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 7: khaloo folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: cbfishhead folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 9: Mr.Cristian7 showed [4d 3c Tc As] and lost with a straight, Ace to Five

I can't seem to understand why the flush didn't count, since I had the ace of spades in my hand and I should've won that hand.

your hand must contain two cards from your deck. Your flush only contained one spade from your deck. You needed an other spade among your 4 cards to make it a valid flush.

In omaha, it's two cards from your deck + 3 from the flop to make your hand.

So it won't take ace of spade + 10 of clubs high for example. Now that I think a little bit about it makes more sense.
For example if I have 8 in my hand, and 8 8 8 in the flop, I'll just have a set instead of 4xkind, right?

Thanks for the answer. (in case you wonder, I finished 3rd/2000 :p)
