Feedback Problems with the site?

It's my birthday today but my name doesn't appear on the (expanded) list. What's up with that?

This is because you've selected to only display your age. If you'd like to change that, go to your User CP and in the edit profile section to display day and month only or full date of birth.

everytime I go to the MH home page the scroll bar always goes down a little. For example when my announcement box is fully open it goes down to about the Edited Mangas. and it's only the home page. I can't figure out why it does that.

The only thing which i really hate about this site (at the moment) is this annoying commercial-banner (this one with the ghost where you can calculate when you´re death is) - this laugh-sound is sooooooo annoying

For these 2 I'll leave for our techs. ^^;

Yes, we're having that problem atm. It is currently in the process of being fixed.

Read Online should work correctly again. In addition the releases of the last 2 days missing have been reprocessing and should be fixed by now.

Download a non-broken browser ( Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome ) or update your Internet Explorer to version 8 (that one should have fixed that error, afaik).

I recommend downloading any of the alternative, non-broken browsers though.

Hello all. Not sure if this is a problem; But i noticed when uploading Keishi Sokan Asami the RO links haven't shown up. I've also noticed other users uploads not showing the RO links either. (Aug.3 uploads) I've uploaded other raws in the past with no problem, RO links show up after a few minutes. Can a staff member look into this please? Thanks. *bow*

Our tech tried to extract your upload locally but it failed. I'm still downloading it but that will take a while *kicks her slow connection*

Could you check whether you are able to unzip your raws for this series? If we can't do that manually, the RO won't be able to either.

The other users you talk about could simply have unchecked the RO box. Not everyone wants to use that feature. Or are those people that usually enable the RO? :3

Ah thanks for the quick reply! Like you, i thought it was the zip file as well. But i unzip all my raws before i upload them (don't want people wasted there time downloading a dud) but i did download vol.1 just to test and i was able to extract. I'll test another volume just incase.

EDIT: Okay downloaded vol.14 and was able to extract it with no problems. Man hope i don't have to re-upload all these volumes again (and probably manually zip and rename them again) Agghh~ not to mention my connection sucks. ^^;

EDIT2: Renamed and rezip'd vol1, that fixed the problem. Will be re-uploading the other 17 vols later in the day. x.x; Sorry for the troubles! ^^;

The JavaScript tag not being closed is a broke ad, I will look into this. It has no effect on the usability of the page, though.

The insert_random_number_here is only for <noscript> field and is used to prevent caching of the link to make sure impressions of the non javascripted link is counted correctly in our internal ad server (which then forwards the request any way to our providers). It makes no difference for any of you guys

Page Problems

I don't think this has been posted yet but anyway I get an occassional page where the page gets clustered with manga titles which I think has to do with the Quick Browse Manga dropdown menu.

I suddenly started to have this interesting bug where the whole manga-list of the site is either filling the page's center, or sometimes it's just in one row going on and on to the right.. It is only a problem when it fills the center because then i can't click anything under it. When I got this problem came another with it (I think they're somehow linked): when I try to read manga the page doesn't load completely and the pic doesn't show. Instead, it just says <\/scr"+"ipt>"); //]]>--> sorry, if this problem has already been answered somewhere.

I wanna know why everytime I send my translations they don't get to appear in the RTS page for the chapter! This time I've sent for Naruto 459 and Bleach 369, but nothing's changed! A translation sent after mine has already shown up, but mine still hasn't!

What browser are you using? And have you recently installed a new addon before this started? Our tech thinks it's some setting in your browser that's interfering with one of the ads. Also can you get screenshots or tell us which ad is in place when you get this error? That might help us narrow it down. Thanks

This is because you're still a new translator (until you have 5 translations posted and approved, you'll be marked as a new tranlsator). I went ahead and approved your Bleach 369 so it's showing on the RTS page. Naruto 459 was already showing.

but there is script all over the page.
it has manga names ....I use firefox

I have a problem with the site. I'm using Firefox, latest version, and the scripts are all over the page. I can't see ANYTHING apart from scripts, every page that I click on has scripts everywhere. Even some pages just appear with the Mangahelpers logo and the navigation system bar, that's it.
What the hell is going on?
It took me like 1 hour to write this message on the normal internet explorer ¬.¬ Even on there it has the same problems.

It's most likely something with one (or more) of the ads. We're looking into it right now to figure it out.
