    • Germany's line-up vs Japan.

S3: Fuji
S2: Yukimura
S1: Byodouin

Germany's Lineup

I don't feel anyone was particularly close on the Atobe vs Tezuka scenario, so no one gets points for that one.

USA vs Switzerland: 3-2

- Switzerland vs USA: Switzerland wins 3-2.
Gonna go with Switzerland 3 - US 1
I'll buck the trend and say the US defeats Switzerland 3-2.
USA wins with 3-2.

Well, time to change my line-ups as we have learnt some more things.

Germany:
D2: Bertie/Schneider
D1: Siegfried/Bismarck
S3: Tezuka
S2: QP
S1: Volk

Japan:
D2: Akaya/Duke
D1: Kite/Kaji
S3: Yukimura
S2: Fuji
S1: Byoudouin

Japan wins 3-2, I don't think I wrote that before.

I think either Marui or Niou will play here and screw everything I wrote (something like, moving Akaya and Sieg to singles, and Yukimura is out for the finals).

Germany:
D2: QP/Bismarck
D1: Bertie/Schneider
S3: Siegfried
S2: Tezuka
S1: Volk

Japan:
D2: Kite/Kaji
D1: Niou/Oni
S3: Akaya
S2: Fuji
S1: Byoudouin

And I think I'll "give up" and stay with that, it's too hard to predict this one lmao.
Fucking liar.

I'm currently inclined to agree with this, but the solution I've arrived at is a bit different. It'll be a miracle if I don't end up changing this over the next two weeks, but for the time being:

Japan
D2: Duke/Oshitari
D1: Irie/Nio
S3: Fuji
S2: Kirihara
S1: Byodoin

Germany
D2: Schneider/Bertie
D1: QP/Siegfried
S3: Tezuka
S2: Bismarck
S1: Volk

Still 3-2 for Japan of course.

S3: Tezuka
S2: Bismarck
S1: Volk

Japan wins 3-2

Oh, the "discarded" part wasn't meant to be there, it was part of an older draft, I'm keeping that line-up. Removed that spoiler tag for clarity. I'm not gonna put Marui nor Niou, that opens up a rabbit hole I'm not willing to dwelve in.

You can. There just didn't seem to be much interest anymore, so I didn't bother with the last round.

Currently we'd be on Yukimura vs Tezuka, though.

ohh come on people, get involved: c

Tezuka wins 4-6 , 6-4, 7-6 (al least 10 points on Tiebreak, like 11-9) It's either that or a canceled game. (Possible extra game: Franksteiner vs Oshitari)

I don't know if I can still predict the other games since the series started. But I predict:

Doubles: Bismark / Siegfried vs Tanegashima / Kirihara (Japan Wins)
Singles: Volk vs Tokugawa ( Japan Wins)

Ralph vs Ryoga: Ryoga wins 6-4 ,7-5

edit:
sorry i changed everything >.<

that leave japan's final team with:
Byodouin
Irie
Atobe
Ryoma
Kintaro
Ohmagari ¿?
Fuji

Hope so. But they are dead. A close pro and a tenimuhou are too much for them. Likewise, we already saw Nioh beat the best doubles in the series. I hope Konomi surprises me.

I really expect either to play in d1 and the other in the finals. We'll see.
