Of course grana isn't one of them. But it's kinda odd junas and dholaki have already shown up in the DVD. Miroku Amagi must be the elder (or one of them) grana talked about. But why and how did grana suddenly become the supreme commander.

Yeah, Miroku obviously isn't a Star Commander. Star Commanders are like the military for the W.I.S.E. IMO. Grana was probably chosen because he was the strongest?

Huh? I don't get it...

Chapter 1. The day Ageha is first called to Psyren is a class day. The fake cops go after him and he suddenly appears in Psyren. The first round doesn't take more than one day, so on that same day, he meets Matsuri and gets the nosebleed. But when he wakes up the next day (chapter 9) he argues with her sister about letting him a Sunday off.

The author got it wrong?

Besides, the round can't possibly take more than a few hours because Ageha's sis has a curfew on him, remember?

It sounds wrong but I believe in Japan, students do go to School on Saturday too, it is just a half day though. Not sure why they wouldn't have the first day of school on a Monday though.

It didn't look like the first day of school though after rereading it.

The first Drift I believed took place on Friday afternoon.
Ageha's sister's curfew was luckily adverted because of her overtime work (Call 8).

The second that after his power awakens was Saturday and was probably skipped straight to Sunday because it was a non-event. (Nothing happened except being forced to wash the bathroom)

Nope, in chapter 9 Ageha argues with her sister about letting him a Sunday off after washing the tub. Besides, Ageha says something about "the day after a cold", so the "cold" (actually, the Psyren disease) was on Saturday.

One more thing: also in chapter 9, Ageha's friends (Hiroki and Saka) ask him why he had the cell turned off on Saturday.

Hmmm been a long time since I read those beginning chapters but didn't ageha come back to the present world somewhere in the darkness. Wihtout a specifyin timelimit he could have arrived after midnight, no?

In any case, they just spent a couple hours in Psyren, that is, no more than a day, so when they come back it's the same day (or the following if it's after midnight, but that doesn't mind). So the day they come back is Saturday, and so the day the go to Psyren must be the same day. Since it's a class day, it wouldn't make sense unless in Japan there's class on Saturdays, as Wowzers said.

Well, here you got my timeline. It's not finished, but I'm posting what I have. The dates are mostly based on Dholaki’s words and in the assumption that Nemesis Q’s power is for exactly 10 years in the future (that is, not even one more day than those 10 years).

I’ll explain it a bit more: in the 3rd round, Dholaki says that they’re in the end of june 2018. The 3rd round (in the present) is on Saturday, so it must be Saturday the 28th.

1999-2005: At some point, Nemesis Q arrives from the future. He starts preparing the Psyren game. The rumours about it start taking shape.
2006: Matsuri becomes a Drifter.
2007: Koper (Elmore’s husband) dies, causing Elmore to become interested in Psyren, even offering a reward. As a consequence, the Psyren urban legend starts spreading out.


Thu, 22nd May 2008: Ageha beats the crap outta Hondo. Later, he gets a Psyren card. [I’m not sure of these two days: it’s just a guess based on the 2 week period among calls]
Fri, 23rd May 2008: Ageha finds out about Amamiya’s card. Amamiya, when trying to tell him, is sent to Psyren. She can’t get to the gate, so she doesn’t come back and is assumed disappeared.

[two weeks later (more or less)]

Fri, 6th June 2008: Ageha finds out about Psyren and does the questionnaire.
Sat, 7th June 2008: The fake cops go after Ageha. Psyren Round 1. First meeting with Matsuri
Sun, 8th June 2008: After washing the tub, Ageha gets a Sunday off. Asaga starts fighting with Miwa-senpai, and ageha joins the fight.
Mon, 9th June 2008: Lying to Saka and Hiroki about Saturday. “Date” with Amamiya. Start of PSI training with Matsuri, and later with Amamiya. Also there’s the special program about Psyren’s secrets featuring Oboro; first appearance of Elmore and Van. Nemesis Q also kills the other Drifter going with them in round 1 (forgot his name).

Sat, 14th June 2008: 6th day of training for Ageha. He manages to open a huge hole on Amamiya’s room. Psyren Round 2.
Sun, 15th June 2008: Rise training with Kagetora. Amamiya learns that Matsuri’s been on a siren tower.

Wed, 18th June 2008: 4th day of Rise training. Ageha, Asaga and Oboro pass. Ageha learns about Melchsee’s Door.
[Training to control MD...]
Fri, 20th June 2008: 3rd day of MD control training. Oboro goes to see Elmore.
Sat, 21st June 2008: Oboro, Ageha and Amamiya go to Elmore Wood. Ageha wanna stay there.

Wed, 25th June 2008: Ageha leaves Elmore Wood.

Wed, 28th October 2009: Meteorite hits Hokkaido. [actually the newspaper says Thursday 29th, but it's the news from the day before]
Thu, 29th October 2009: Start of the WISE’s World Rebirth Project? Tears of promise?????

Wed, 25th November 2009: Two giant towers melt in the Kantou otskirts, causing a huge blackout (Dholaki’s power?). Two railroad cars disappeared and appeared 3 km away (Shiner’s power?) [now I get it: if the cores were in (or were formed from) the meteorite, they're trying if their powers have improved with the cores...]

Wed, 2nd December 2009: A WISE rally (at least in the unchanged future) and the Declaration of War.

20th (month unknown, but before October) 2010: Earthquakes been going on for a really long time.

After seeing the timeline, I am reminded of the earthquakes that Kabuto's uncle talked about and all the ash and dust and debris. I'm wondering how the Wise could have done this "everywhere". Somehow I doubt that they could do this exclusively with their powers. Could they have somehow triggered a Nuclear war and all the detonations triggered fault lines all over the world. This caused earthquakes and probably volcanic activity for the ash and dust. I wonder how radioactive the drifters are right now.

No need for nuclear devices. The whole Pacific ocean is surrounded by volcanoes... just in the American continent we have a whole line of volcanoes starting as far south as Tierra del Fuego, all along Central America, all the way to Alaska, spilling over to Siberia, Japan and most of Pacific Asia. Most of these volcanoes are close to fault lines (heck... I live above a sensitive fault line and next to two volcanoes).

Trigger the right volcanes, you trigger the fault lines and activate more volcanoes. A pretty chain reaction ^^

I think triggering the volcanoes would be a nice way too, though I'll think there has to be something more drastic happening to the whole worl to reach that point og destruction:

1)The atmosphere is totally altered
2) Geographical location changed totally.

Kabuto once commented that there is no way he should be able to see Mount Fuji from that location (that town). I have also previos seen a Japanese Psyren blog saying that the true lcoation (the town where Ageha & Psyren cast resided) there is no way Ageha can see Mount Fuji. Ther should have been some substantial plate tectonic movement on earth.

Well, I was thinking that they would have to use nukes to trigger the fault lines since there is only so much power you can get out of one human being, or even a group. It takes a truly titanic amount of force to trigger an earthquake if the fault line isn't ready to do it already. They tend to relieve their own stresses before the force gets too large by giving off little quakes first. This means there would have to be an unbelievably huge influx of force to trigger them all over the world.

Even if Shiner was teleporting all over the place and hacking out huge chunks of the crust out of crucial locations he still couldn't do it fast enough. The stress he creates in one place wouldn't stay that way long enough to trigger it in multiple locations. At best he would create local minor earthquakes, and that's if he knew exactly where to do it. Also we're assuming he can teleport huge chunks out of the earth from a few kilometers down.

Maybe that's what they needed the large influx of cash for, buying black market nukes that were smuggled out of unstable countries.

Actually, while I was thinking of this, another option rang a bell. Remember the meteor?
Maybe that was a test and they are planning on impacting on earth a number of asteroids in the area of fault lines. That would do it too. Hard to believe they could "steer" an asteroid impact deliberately though.

Every week there is a chapter... its in shounen jump (like NAruto and Bleach), but since its less popular, the Edited Manga only pops around saturday or sunday
