also i had a question.i noticed alot of you guys on here are amazing artists.i just wanted some tips on inking/coloring.
here's my attempt at inking a drawing by hand

i just wondering if you guys use a certain type of pen or what programs you use to ink it on your computer.i also was wondering what programs are good for coloring drawings and pages from manga.i wanna try to widen my skills in drawings and such and become a better artist.

as for the question about inking:
i don't use reallife ink, since i grew up with computers.
I use photoshop7(or higher) for my inking(and sketching and everything else)
when i use my wacom tablet i use a brush size 5 (a hard brush not the soft ones!)
and when i use a optical mouse(you know, the kind with the pretty red light) i use a brush size 3 (or 1/2 when i draw 1:1 without resizing the image)

and another tip: when you draw on a computer, remember to use the eraser as much as the normal brush. I once read in a tutorial "i use more the eraser then the brush" and after experimenting a little with it, she was right. A eraser can do wonders in photoshop drawings
