man, this manga sounds too sad for me to read lol. Inoue is awesome though, so I think I might try it since he's taking another break on Vagabond. Damn though... released yearly? That sucks.

Real isn't sad. Quite the contrary, I'd say. It's about how human nature prevailes when faces with adversities. It's inspirational.

well, the series is only six volumes to begin with. Inoue is busy with Vagabond.

ah to make you easier, REAL out in INA local bookstores now.
i read from omanga until vol.4 about two year ago and stopped for some time.
finding it displayed at the bookstall made me cry out of joy.

einiwei, why is REAL categorize as Seinen?
is it published in Japanese seinen magz? i know the story taking a different perspective that perhaps waaay to deep in thought for shounen, which was great.

Serialization is in Young Jump (A seinen magazine, which includes other mangas like Sidooh, Zetman, Gantz, Kamen Teacher), therefore it is a Seinen.
