If you're trying to discover 100 years of hidden history you'll need a whole lot of different materials.
Books, maps, copybooks, entire libraries full of every bit of informations, theories, hints.
Where does Robin keep all this?
In her room, of course!
...Nope, that won't work.
Pirates or Marines may raid the Sunny (it happened before), the ship could sink, a mere cannonball may obliterate that room.
Her research will be destroyed in no time, she would lose years of work.
And she could be forced again to stay away from the ship.
Robin carries her research around!
That would solve some issues, but, again, the sheer volume of her paperwork renders this impossible. And even if she's great at writing enormous amounts of informations in a tiny copybook, if she's caught, a mere body search will result in her losing all her research, even if the copybook is written to resemble something else.
So, how she managed to not lose her research, up until now?
Her fruit seemed to have an "awakened" range from the start, so I wonder if the real awakening enabled her to access the hidden dimension that links her power to the place where she sprouts limbs, (her "room"), and now she's able to access that pocket dimension, but only by using sprouted limbs or her body double.
Maybe, by using a great amount of effort, she can carry small objects 'inside' or 'outside' that dimension, by grabbing the object with one of her sprouted limbs, and then by trying to re-sprout that same limb in her pocket dimension.
One thing is certain: she needs to lock away her research, in a place where no one will ever reach it, and she needs to always carry her work with her, no matter where she goes, or what she's doing.
What do you think?
