Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it seemed like the most sensible. Not good at all, but I entered it in the amateur contest.

I'm still new to this forum, it's hard for me to adjust :P.

So sorry about that ><. I hope it doesn't happen again, I'm looking around to see where everything is.

I use Photoshop CS2, no real effects, just brush tool and smudge.

No problem. It's a big board and not easy to navigate in the beginning ^^;

I especially like how you did the shadows on Rubys skin. For the hair, I would suggest to color it in a middle tone, then use the smallest brush around 80% transparency and follow the hair flow with many fine lines with the dodge and burn tool.
