I guess I couldn't object too hard to blake being the legendary super kawai tsundere catgirl.

Seriously though, the moon should by any logic be a huge deal and it is never even alluded to. I mean, how does a moon explode? I was thinking the war or some bullshit but dust looses its potency as it gets further from earth meaning no human weapon should be able to reach it. An exploding moon sounds like the work of gods... Or ozpin? Please let ozpin be the one that exploded the moon.

Another thing, where the fuck is salem? Looking at the map there is no evident place she can come be at. However her minions are always where they need to be where it is convenient to the plot. Granted the series takes place over the course of over a year at this point but come on.... They still look like they have some fast travel method available to them.

And another thing, where the fuck is tai? I think he said he stayed in signal teaching but you'd think he'd try harder to find rwby... The guy was in a team with qrow and raven and taught yang how to fight, it's just odd that he isn't more relevant to the story.

Seeing the past few episodes i also wonder what it is that raven found to make her think salem is so invincible. It was arguably enough to make her abandon her family and want to kill her own brother. On the other hand what leo implied is that raven is as much a coward as he is so....

Wait wtf? Wasn't Qrow and Ozpin already suspicious of the ambush? Why the fuck did he bring them along!!?? and was it mentioned Leonard or whatever his name was a faunus? But good episode, the volume finally picking up. Weiss has no real chance against the spring maiden, fake/close death incoming. On God Cinder is a savage, yo if Yang and Blake weren't created she'd be best girl by miles. Cinder rightfully treating Jaune like the fodder he is, but I don't mind his focus on the episode. Also Ruby's eyes? Tf did she do to Cinder?

@kkck @Doughboy I already mentioned this like wtf..

All were pointing to Leo from the start :
- Soldiers are sent outside of city
- Huntsman is sent on mission and never return
- and the last call
- Cinder and others were representing Haven during a festival and have legit documents for that...

And Yet Qrow decide to walk into this despite his semblance ( I swear to god that two situations were caused because of that ) with a whole group didn't he coming close to anyone because of his semblance? ( and here we have him bringing the whole group with him and he was even living with them for over one month )

Ozpin and Qrow despite having over one month didn't do anything in Haven at all.. They only discover missing Soldiers and Hunstman and in that moment Qrow should go to Leo and kick his ass..

Tf did she do to Cinder?

Ohh I forget about that in my post it looks like that SE are effective against Grimms, not maiden themselves ( Cinder have a Grimm inside of her )..

SE didn't affect Vernal ( I've seen theory that Raven is maiden, not Vernal << Sounds pretty good tbh ) so either plot hole or it doesn't affect maidens

Ozpin and Qrow despite having over one month didn't do anything in Haven at all.. They only discover missing Soldiers and Hunstman and in that moment Qrow should go to Leo and kick his ass..

Also RWY and JNR are getting smacked around too, while I usually like when the bad defeats good gotta admit their training session didn't improve improve them. Yang should beat Mercury but Emerald is slapping Ruby around while Weiss has no shot against Vernal.

Oh I forgot about the grimm in her, more like I can't remember when it occurred. I know it has to do with her eye though. We should see the effects of the silver eyes or at least more on it next episode. Jaune's semblance might be finally revealed, probably something to do with time or space.

Oh, cool, finally some acknowledgement on the moon. It looks like it was blown from the inside from the regular angle though.

I don't think jaune can transfer damage. I think he can heal damage tbh. He healed a wound instantly when phirra first activated his aura... But while we have been told aura can heal wounds faster, we have never seen someone heal a wound like jaune did. What jaune did wasn't fast, it was instant.

Or Salem was referring that Watts after negotiations with Raven will return to Salem to give new tail to Crazy guy and not take part in the attack on Haven << Seems legit I'm just looking into something too much like always :P

Still, there are two Villains we have yet to meet ( we have 6 chairs after all :P )

Basically, Ozpin and Qrow while saying kids to take they weapons because they going straight into a trap :

Ozpin in episode 3 or whatever said that Salem will attack Haven ( so he knew that attack is coming as well ) and the attack will probably take place in one month just before students will start return... after month they received a call from Leo that they already suspected to meet him at night at the day that Ozpin will be said that Salem is most likely to attack..

I'm less and less surprised that Ozpin didn't defeat Salem and he will not RWBY + Jaune will do all the work for him..

Of course, it can be explained that Vernal is just more trained with her powers than them but guess who was wearing a mask during the time when Vernal was confirming she's the Maiden..

Ah, when I read your post that is exactly what I began wondering about... But I couldn't remember everything with enough detail lol. If it is indeed the case then that means raven killed the previous maiden but before that got enough into her head so that she would get the powers.... Which is fairly disturbing. Yet more like a slow tuesday compared to her usual activities (steal from and murder entire towns).

TBH her plan still makes no sense to me. So far it kinda seems like she does aim to steal the relic but there is no scenario under which that spares her salem's wrath. There shouldn't be any scenario under which raven is not one of salem's servants and walks away alive. If her endgame really is survival then she necessarily has to pick a side... And it would make sense she picks the one she deems to be the winning one.

It's interesting how cinder and the previous fall maiden fight so differently. The previous fall maiden fought using thunder and wind meanwhile cinder focuses heavily on fire. It's likely that this is a matter of preference but you'd think that when you have maidens for every season their powers would have a more limited scope. If anything you'd think the summer maiden would be more of a fire user and in turn the fall maiden would be more of a wind user... Winder would be ice... and no idea with spring. I guess controlling plants or something to that effect?

Crackpot theory: Cinder isn't really the fall maiden. Maybe she can use fire powers because she is actually the summer maiden. Ozpin went ahead and told each maiden they were a different thing thus there would at least be some trolling in case any of the maidens got compromised. He probably didn't foresee salem being able to steal maiden powers however over a long period of time it is not impossible that there is a traitorous maiden. Such as the current "spring" maiden. Maybe this is the additional protection ozpin was speaking of. So you have a "fall" maiden that can't open the beacon vault and a "spring" maiden that can't open the haven vault.That is the sort of troll level you only acquire over multiples lives worth of trolling.

Another bit that made me think of that: How does salem know about the maidens and which maiden opens which door? This is something that of course only people in ozpin's inner circle would know about and ideally would keep secret from salem. Barring shenanigans, that was probably the original endgame. To hide the relics behind doors and leave the key unknown. However salem does know which maiden opens which door. Meaning that in the past someone from ozpin's inner circle betrayed him. And how did he compensate? By adding a bit of fun to this.
