Welp, that is the explanation for weiss' cloths that I did not need. You'd think if this was the case then it would have made it to the story somehow though. The video kinda sort of overreacts to this though.

We saw her with short sleeves earlier so if she would have scars there it would be a nice retcon..

But I kinda see them doing that ( ) after all Blake didn't have the scar on her concept art for Volume 4 and in Volume 4 ( okay she may have it but it's hard to see because of that coat ) while in Volume 5 she has..

The wonders of dust powered makeup. A mere suicide scar can be hidden easily. That or she cut herself between volumes 4 and 5. Which I could totally see weiss doing if she saw the script for volume 5.

Dunno if I want more illya. IMO she got off far too easily from all the stuff she tried to pull. She tried to kill literally everyone in blake's family. Add to that the fact that this is the family in charge of leading the only faunus country on earth. And she got off easily because... forgiveness? Sure, blake can forgive her but why does that mean illya's attempted regicide should go unpunished? I don't buy it even under the excuse of not perpetrating hate. And to boot she might even get a bunny girl considering volume 5's finale.

Dunno if I want more illya. IMO she got off far too easily from all the stuff she tried to pull. She tried to kill literally everyone in blake's family. Add to that the fact that this is the family in charge of leading the only faunus country on earth. And she got off easily because... forgiveness? Sure, blake can forgive her but why does that mean illya's attempted regicide should go unpunished? I don't buy it even under the excuse of not perpetrating hate. Maybe if they leave an ex White Fang like her in team they can make many other White Fang members defect also.

I honestly have nothing against Ilia getting more screen time but RWBY and JNR take priority and them with Ozpin/Qrow it's already 9 characters ( with 12/13 minutes episodes ) ..

Someone needs to be cut off ( leave in Haven ) so we won't have holo moments that character is there only in the background and not doing anything because there's no time ( Ren and Nora in this Volume )

And I agree it's great that Ilia get a second chance ( no complaints here ) but Blake has forgiven her completely like nothing happened between them..

I always didn't like it but after Director commentary and mention that there will be a tension Between Blake and Yang ( and maybe even Blake and Ruby/Weiss.) I absolutely hate how easily she was let go.

Sure Blake did stupid and selfish decision but she wanted to protect people so even if she was wrong her intentions were good and she will have to crawl between everyone for forgiveness?? <<< No complaints here from me I look forward what we will get here but it clearly shows that Ilia was forgiven too easily.

Ilia tried to Kill Sun, Blake family and send Blake to the execution from Adam's hands and no one hold anything against her..

Dunno what with this fandom ( not related to anyone on MH ) but I've seen people saying that Raven deserve forgiveness while Blake doesn't ( Like wtf...)

Raven? Seriously? How is that even comparable? Blake was a bitch to her friends at the most. Raven murdered people and is the single most cowardly and pathetic character in the franchise.

Ok, a few months have passed so... Is our beautiful cinder dead? I gotta say that at this moment she seems pretty dead. Specially with that song which seems to be specifically about her dying.
