So.... what in the hell did we just saw? Those two random assholes just walked up to the gang and offered their huntsmen/gigolo services? Assuming they were even huntsmen. I thought there weren't any huntsmen left in that country since they were all killed. Or were they just dead for plot purposes but not for gag purposes? Or were they not huntsmen. I also find the idea that just the girls are enough to protect the relic somewhat ridiculous. The girls aren't yet as strong as competent huntsmen as far as we know.

I think huntsmen are still active, though few in between. I guess they want to prove a point that they are as powerful as ever as they can protect themselves, but I can see your points there.

Considering that they fought numerous gigantic Grimm and avoided an attack on Mistral, they are more than capable of protecting the relic.

The issue here would be how they compare to a full squad of professional huntsmen and how available they are. If the gang is on the same level as actual huntsmen then yeah, they would be qualified to protect the relic. If they are inferior to a team of huntsmen AND huntsmen are available for the job AND can be reasonably trusted to do the job then the gang should prepare itself to go back to school while grownups handle stuff. For the story to make sense at even the most basic level there should be at least passable explanations as to why they are doing what they are doing.

That is just the basis on what was happening on that clip. On that same clip, the huntsmen forgot to do a simple job, protecting something, implying that they are completely useless if given the opportunity as large as our leads. Plus, like I previously stated, they got work done that normal huntsmen didn't get. So they are capable, even if limits are there.

Based on what I know of the fandom so far the single most pairing that is bound to get as much anger as possible is probably blake/jaune... Fuck it, I am in this ship.
