Discussion Second Strongest

Luffy is clearly the strongest character on the good guys side after his latest power-up, but who do you guys think is the second strongest character on Luffy's side right now?

Kidd has gone through the Udon strength training with Luffy.

Law has an incredibly versatile and hax devil fruit.

Zoro just got Enma and will likely level up his haki like Luffy did. His post-ts Ashura form is also still up for speculation.

Inuarashi and Nekomamushi still haven't displayed Sulong.

Shutenmaru was the strongest of the red sheaths in the flashback and was able to land the first hit on Jack in their short duel.

Did I miss anyone who has a shot at this?

Nah. All others dont stand a chance. Even Law is questionable. Neko and Inu too since Shutenmaru did more then those both combined

So its between Kidd and Zoro. But Kidds Devilfruit is underwhelming as of now, since hakibody> metal.

Zoro no doubt, his limits are unknown and he is a main character unlike Law and Kidd.

If we are strictly talking about this Arc, then probably Law. We may not know Zoro's limits but we know he cannot touch Law if he doesn't want to be touched. He can literally dance around Zoro and pretty much all characters if he wants to. Not many people can rain down pieces of battleship on your forces...like Fujitora did that one time on Dressrosa. Law being able to pull the same feat on a smaller scale is pretty cool but that being said he is no Fujitora. Furthermore I want to note that Law's eternal surgery or whatever it is called literally makes the strongest even stronger. In this sense he can help the strongest be even more op further making him an indispensible asset as being the #2...althouh he will die after doing said surgery so the point is kind of moot for Law but not for the strongest who becomes immortal (Luffy).

If we are talking about Luffy and his allies, I'd be willing to bet Marco. I'd even vote Marco over Sabo. My reasoning is because Marco seem to already been thru some seastone training as evident during the summit war. He got sea stones put on him and all he did was NOT get weak as seastones do to df users. Instead he got mad and just told people to take that shit off the same way Big Mom told Kaido's goons to take her seastones off. That is quite badass. Now add self ressurection magic and blue flames to the mix as well as flight, you got one hell of a fighter. Theres quite afew other notable things to add here like being whitebeard's 1st division commander and all that extra jazz but I think we all get he point.

I consider them pretty much equal with some minor preferences so any of them. Take your pic.

Anyway for me the 2nd strongest after Luffy is either Kidd or Drake i think these 2 are stronger than Law and Zoro given Oda has been hyping them up ever since time skip.

After the raid suit upgrade, Sanji has barely become capable of standing up to the strongest headliners. I'm more looking to figure out who's going to take on the likes of Big Mom and the three calamities.

Nothing I say can convince you that Sanji is in the same tier as Zoro so I'm going to avoid the discussion all together. This is my opinion, that's all.

Exactly. Not a power scaling thread. I simply disagree with your placement of Sanji. I'm just not going to argue it.

If your looking for matchups for Big Mom and the 3 Calamities?

Big Mom = Kidd(Cant solo)
King = Zoro (Would have to get stronger during the fight)
Queen = Sanji (Same as above)
Jack = Law (Law solos)

What's interesting is that Queen and King seem to be equals or that's what Oda is trying to portray so I'm curious as to how matchups play out

Kidd and Law are ones that are more equals to Luffy by portrayal and feats. Zoro is same league as Sanji as tier below. He is not and never will be there lvl. Though Sanji and Zoro can give challenge to them greatly however.

Actually no build up for Zoro vs King. More so him after Orochi. I think Law or Kidd will have King while Jack take on Dukes with Chopper for revenge over him.
