The Chinese arc was fun to read but ultimately pointless. It feels like there is no connection between it and the arcs before and after. The Toma arc has been really good so far, back to what I expect of Shamo.

The series is being serialized again but mag raws have not been posted online since August. Worst case scenerio we all have to wait for volume 27 is released.

I started reading this back in late 09 and picked it up on it's return in Aug. and lemme say to new readers that spotted this on the front page....it's one dark manga but it's one of those manga's that posses an addicting aura to it.

And with it's recent-ish return, it's a good time to pick it up if your looking for something amazing, good to see it recommended on the FP as well (Now if only Veritas returns I can die happy)

I think it's the perfect manga for Berserk fans looking for another dark, intelligent manga to read. A different genre with a similar feel. And it is very dark, especially the beginning. The first two volumes, when he is in jail, are particularly gruesome.

There is no new material in volume 26, everything was previously released using magazine raws. Illuminati did scanlate the volume, if you want higher quality releases of already released chapters you can download it from their IRC channel. The unscanlated chapters will start to appear in volume 27. The street date for volume 27 has not been announced.

Should be nine chapters: 63 - 71. Chapter 63 was the last to be scanlated. Volume 26 included chapters 54 - 62.

I'm actually a little glad magazine raws disappeared. The art is simply to good for low res raws. Because so much of volume 26 was already scanlated it was an extra long wait, now that it will settle into new manga ever four or five months it won't be to bad.

yeah,it becomes hella good till volume 16,then you will have to wait a bit,but if you understand it,it surely convinces you!

It's worth picking back up, Shamo gets better as it goes along. Ryu is such a scum bag, one of the most vile characters in manga. Following him through the underworld is amazing.

gotta say, awesome volume.

Ryo vs Toma is one of the most intense fights i have ever seen in manga, not because of the violence, but because of the emotions behind it.
It was a genius move to show the state of the fight in that dreamworld

Would have been hard to follow their development otherwise IMO. Anyhow don't want to see the fight stretch through the next volume with only a couple of minutes left for the fight, the plot got to progress at some point, even if it concludes the story.
