Discussion Shanks: Good or evil?

He's a mysterious guy, he's friendly to Luffy and the WhiteBeard pirates such. Underneath the more we go on we see even the government big shots talk with Shanks and actually listens to what he has to say. What do you guys think?

Instead of letting his enemies and enemies of his old captain be wiped out, he saved them
Looked out for Ace though I'm not sure if it's because of Ace being Roger's son, being a Whitebeard, or because he was Luffy's brother
Seems to be warning the Gorosei of what's happening
Is known to be a pacifist
And Shanks has never been mentioned in a bad way or negatively by other characters the way other emperors and Roger have been, even though Whitebeard and ROger are good guys

So far, Shanks seems to be a stellar guy.

Didn't Kidd challenge Shanks? And even after that, Shanks didn't imprison him or kill him.

Currently Shanks is leaning towards good or at least it seems like he mostly does the right things. His position with the Gorosie is odd. I really don't know what to make of that. Goda is surely going to pull a huge reveal for Shank. He was an inheritor of the Straw Hat. He has CoC. This guy's attack also split the skies and he only has one arm to use. Hype as fuck.

Kid is de facto evil. What Shanks did was probably justified.

that's like an elephant caring about the bugs its about to step onto.... Kidd is different and we dont know what happened.... But what is good? Pirates fighting Pirates is kinda expected... Shanks seems to like balance at best so good or evil, perhaps both

I am also not sure wether they killed them all. Afaik Roo shot someone in the head and then Beckman beat them up using his rifle as a club.

Well. I think Shanks is gay and he married Luffy but as a blue okama clown with the eyes of Mihawk (= Im).

Evidence for that remains a secret, but did anyone else notice that Shanks crew contains only males?

He's done more good than evil from what we've seen.

Higuma and his folks started the fight by beating on Luffy. Shanks and his crew just finished the fight.

The Gorosei thing is the most suspect he's been. Even then we don't have much context about what they spoke about.

he definitely is playing both sides, but not necessarily in a selfish way, more of a balance manner... he does garner respect from the marines as we saw in marinfold as well as the reverie....

Connections most likely.

He snuck onto the Mary Geoise, that's likely, but the implications are that they went out of their way to arrange a meeting with him at his request. Like, he had to have sent a message ahead of time or something.
