I prefer the second one (maybe because I dislike too light colors - but this is only a personal preferences)

Yep ! Just how i pictured that scene.
Shika could use some more colors imo but it's great.
I'll go for the 1st one since the scene took place in daytime.

great job on this, i like the daylight version best. shikamaru is too saturated in the night version. if he was paler and darker, it might work though! nice nice... ^^
