Re: Shingeki no Kyojin by ISAYAMA Hajime

so far both are "just" typical protagonist and I hope they will be more unique in the (near) future.
As of now, Mikasa is the most interesting one but as Kaiten mentioned it bugs me that Eren is her main driving force. If he's really gonna die (even though I doubt it), she's doomed too. I hope she will find other things/people she can form bonds with, so that she doesn't lose her will to live if anything happens to Eren!
On another note: I'm quite curious why Shingeki has become such a great hit in a short amount of time. Sure it's a good and very interesting story but not as stunning as the sales make it look like, at least not in my opinion. So any guess why it has become such a big seller? And do you think there's any chance that it will get as popular as "Naruto", "FMA" or even "One Piece"?
I agree, their development will be quite interestingI clearly need to re-read the mangaI forgot those details!
Still, despite all that, she's still kickass and I love her.
I was starting to like Armin a lot too. I'm sure that from here on out he will only continue to be developed and become even more likable. I'd like to see even more development for Eren as well.

Right now, I like the series but, like you, it hasn't struck me in the same way series like FMA or OP has, at least not yet.
