What can I say? I really liked the outcome of the fight. Jack won the physical fight with his tricks but he still was unable to make Hercules despair until the very end. In everyone's eyes, Jack is the winner of this match, but from Jack's perspective, this is his complete and utter loss as he was unable to fulfil his objective and desire to break him.

Honestly, this is probably my favourite fight of the series as of yet. Not only the clash of ideals between "good" and "evil" was very well done, but the choreography, as well as Jack's tricks and Hercules' unwillingness to give up, was amazing too. It felt really different from the other fights in which the two characters flew straight up against each other to see who was the strongest. If I had to rank all the fights we've had, it would be something like this:

1. Jack the Ripper vs Hercules
2. Adam vs Zeus
3. Lu Bu vs Thor
4. Sasaki Kojiro vs Poseidon

I want to say that all the fights so far have been very good and have left a very good taste in my mouth. This tournament manga has been amazingly done so far and I can't wait for the next match-ups!

Great fight tbh. Definitely one of the best ones we have so far, with a bittersweet but at the same time hopeful ending for both oponents. Hercules lost and died, but managed to reach to the heart of his rival by showing him the genuine kindness and love he always wanted in his life, while Jack won the fight, but couldn't taint Hercules's pure soul with the fear he desired, and ended losing the only person (other than that drunk prostitute that acted like some kind of aunt to him in his past) who truly understood him, effectively losing the emotional battle.
I was having mixed feelings about Hercules through the fight (mainly due his support of the Gods despite claiming to love humans seemed kinda hypocriticial), but after seeing how he decided to "save" Jack from his darkness at the cost of his life despite Jack being the very example of the evil humans can commit, he ended gaining my respect.

Overall probably as good as the Adam vs Zeus, if not better. Hope the next battle ends being as good as this one!

Everyone rooting for Hercules was making me sad lol poor jack but he was a serial killer so it’s understandable

Emotionally too

Adam is my favorite character in this series so I’m kind of biased but this fight made me like Jack just as equally because of how crafty, strategic & cunning he was

This is by far the best manga I have ever read. So many different characters and the story is too good.

Thor vs Lu Bo is the best fight easily imo.

Odin is probably final boss material, so I doubt he's going to participate so soon.
