Discussion Strawhat Divisions: The Commanders

Since Barto said something about not wanting to be in the same group with Cavendish. I think Oda is foreshadowing something about Luffy allies and how he will be eventually -and unintentionally- having some division under his orders. Mihawk also stated in Marineford that Luffy's greatest power is him making friends with everyone he met. I think that he will be rhe same as Whitebeard. Every strawhat will have a strong division under his orders in an upcoming big war near the end of the manga. Here are my thoughts.

Luffy: Rebecca/Kyros and Dressrosa King Army. (Since he saved the country and him being a close friend of Rebbeca)

Zoro: Sai and the Happo Navy (He showed some interest about that country)

Sanji: Kinemom and the Wano Kingdom (He's a friend of Kibemon, they're both perverts and his the only one who cared about Kinemom when he was cut by Law)

Usopp: Leo and the Tontatta Tribe + Hajrudin and the Elbaf Island (God Usopp will realise his lie about having 8000 with him) Nami: ??? Chopper: ??? (Law ??????)

Robin: Bartolomeo and the Barto Club + Cavendish and his crew. (working in the same group )

Franky: ??? Brook: ???

Jimbei: Neptune and Fishman Island (well obviously).

What do you think ? Is it plausible?

This very much possible with the way this arc is being shown. Oda has shown all yhese characters with unique personalities and goals such as the Giant wanting to be king of Giants and Don Chaijo who had a personal vendetta against Garp and anyone related to him. So it is very thinkable that they would make more appereances in the story after this arc

Oh. That sounds pretty cool and quite possible as well. Although something like that probably wouldn't happen for a while. The original SH pirates still have their adventures. I think its something that would happen when luffy finally faces the WG towards the end. Like whitebeard did.

What about Vivi and King Riku army?

I don't think Vivi will have any great impact on a possible war between Luffy and the WG. She will still be a (weak) ally of the SHs. Even though I always thought that Vivi will eventually join the SHs in some arc in the New World. She is (I think) the 3rd female member in the crew. But the chances are small :/

I honestly think that this is better than I thought, everything is more logical.

But just to make it clear. I don't see Luffy actually thinking that he is having a considerable and powerful number of allies under his orders. I think Oda will make it feel more spontaneous. Like every one of the divisions will want to help him even if he doesn't care.

True, I mentioned that in my post as well. Luffy and co are more about adventure but an alliance seems in line with the war that White-beard foreshadowed.

As per Whitebeard's last speech, one piece will be found and that event will trigger a great war, that is where the alliance would fit in.

I'm trying to complete a bit..

Chopper can talk to animals and make them fight, (so does luffy)

Nami has the wheataria scientist so they can control weather,

Brook is a superstar who has the ability of hypnotizing, i'll call his fans will be a bit of a hassle (maybe not when they fight yonkou, but against world government and the marines)

And dont forget they still have Rayleigh, Mihawk, Hancock, Iva and many more on their side.

If the final war is as grand as the rumour, they could probably show up.

You cant count Rayleigh taking part, he is old and retired. Mihawk, definitely not, specially considering he is Zoro's final opponent... Iva as a revolutionary and Hancock maybe not because of her Shichibukai stature.

Well, we never know how the war will be. Looking on how the SH succeeding running away from the marines on Shabondy Island and Marineford war, i think those things are actually possible.

Even if the shichibukai will not support them, mihawk and hancock will not be on their way

Hancock will undoubtedly support the Straw Hats, but Mihawk is another story. This guy did attempt to kill Luffy on numerous occasions during the war. However, I feel like he has taken up a neutral stance. He will not act against them unless he is ordered by the WG.

Fromr 769 to 774, I think we get a better explanation. Luffy's divisition captain will probably br Bellamy. I think I finallly get an answer about why Bellamy was so hyped this past year !

I don't see there being any division in Straw Hats, just allies. I just can't see the crew getting so big and turning into a Whitebeard-like crew, not for a looooong time anyway. Personally, I don't wanna see this happen, but I am a-okay with alliances being formed.

Well, the divisions in wbs crew were made out of actual wb piratess, not the allies we saw. Actual divisions within the strawhats would not male sense in that context. I doubt the alkiesr thehave made in dressrosa would accept being under the command of a strawhat either.

Well they might get divisions, but I don't think Luffy will treat them as such. He'll just do what he pleases like with Law stating: You can't make decisions like that, that's selfish, only I can decide if the alliace is over.

Speaking of which, we have the Heart Pirates and Amazon Pirates that will without a doubt have an alliance with the Strawhats. Plus we can count on other single allies like Perona.

The Sea-kings will also be taking their place with Shirahoshi (she's the one that I can see Luffy personally leading because he is probably destined to do so).

Bellamy is also probably going to take part in it. As well as Shanks will be an ally if he doesn't die against Blackbeard. Not to forget the WhiteBeard pirates and their allies as well as Garp, Sengoku, Coby, Smoker, Dragon included. Maybe even Crocodile.

Basically, as much as I'd like to see the Strawhats commanding other crews, I don't think it'll happen. Luffy probably doesn't have interest in that.

When the war happens, the big names will all be present. Most will probably fight with the Strawhats against whoever comes. Be it the Gourousei, the Marines, Shichibukai, Blackbeard Pirates and their alliances or some evil force not yet announced.

To me what would be interesting is the main strawhat crew getting a title or something of the sort. WB had his commanders, BB seems to call his main crewmembers "giants" so what would fit the strawhats?

Maybe not the same division as whitebeard has....yet. In the end of the story, they could have been separated and make their own pirates and be alliances/rivals. Just like shanks and buggy who was previously on the same ship together. But as long as their captain is alive and they have the same target (which is finding one piece and protect each other), i guess their number will not increasing that much.
