I like it as well, the MC while was a low life turned out to be somewhat interesting. This gives the feeling of the webtoon Hive with a much younger gen as MC so not so bad.

I literally just log in to give my opnion. This manwha is fun. Like, really fun. Oh boy, how much I do enjoy it so far. When I saw the genre ''Thriller, Horror, Drama, Psychological'' there was no way that I just shouldn't try it out. I am glad that I started to read it yesterday midnight, and I literally finished all the chapters today in the free time that I had because I just wanted to keep reading it lmao. Like for real, this concept is so obvious, something I have seen a few times before, like it's nothing new and yet I really like it so much. The idea in this story reminds me a bit of the manga Jagaaaaaaaan (I did drop this manga thought, not because of the story concept but mostly because of.. something else xD) especially when it comes to the whole monster concept

Spoiler: to open or not to open? Your own choice ~

Since the infection in Sweet home is quite the same as the infection in Jagaaaaaaaan, that human only has weird frogs inside of them that let them transform into a full monster if you give in, in your desire while in Sweet Home it's some kind of weird cell thing that tries to control your mind and wants you to give in through some kind a dream, to get the ''desire'' that you want so that you will finally transform fully in a monster. It's like basically the same and it really made me remember of Jagaaaaan on that point since there are a few humans who are exceptions and doesn't wanna give in to become a monster, just a bit the same as in jagaaaaaan also and then there is of course a group of people/ a team that will fight for humanity sake and get ride of these monsters. The difference is that in Jagaaaaaaaaan people who are infected has to be killed also since there is no return for them to go back to being a human, if their mission has been accomplished (once infected, always infected unless something new have happened since again, I did dropped it but I remember that part in that manga 'cuz that bird explained it to the MC xd) while in Sweet Home there is still not quite an answer explained if they also have to kill themselves or not. So kinda waiting on that part a bit but so far, it made me remind of Jagaaaaaaaan. xD

However the difference between these two is that Sweet Home makes me feel like as if I am truly watching a Horror movie on my screen expect that I am reading it. The author captures the moments quite well, and uses the angle of every panel really good, like in a true Horror movie. I really want to write more but I think this is good for the time being.

Tldr; it's a fun Manwha to read if you're into horror, and I like it~

I agree with everything you said magi but want to add the fact that every new monster is unique on it's own, it doesn't feel repetitive at all because with every monster we have a new way to deal with it, you can never feel safe even if you defeat a lot of different type of monsters because every single one is unique on it's wish and it adapt on it how it's environment or missing parts that been cut down, even evolving at time ( in reality these monsters are pokemons )
Your wish make the monster that it even can be a non harmful monster ( like we seen with that one woman )

I didn't expect jisu after protecting hyun, suddenly thinking of abandoning him, that too me by surprise, her paranoia really did an affect on her, but I guess it's an expected thing in these kinda situation to look out more for yourself then others not knowing how to trust and how may turn into a monster destroying their only safe place that is packed of resources.

Also man hyun really have grown form the first chapter, taking on the monster by himself with the power of strategies, guess we found out tomorrow how things will turn out...

On the unique part, that's exactly what Jagaaaaan also has. In that regard, they are quite the same. Like, the monster concept idea is basically the same. Although, the art of Jagaaaaan is, of course, way more detailed however I must admit that I do like this art style of Home Sweet, and as you said and as I early mentioned also, the way they use the angles of the panels to capture you in that very moment, when a monster appears, they are doing really well in that regard hence it made me just feel as if I am watching a horror movie. I really like it a lot.

I mean, after her convo with that glasses guy (forgot his name) and making her clear that Hyun and the fatass man aren't the only monsters around, made her go full paranoia modus, so it's quite natural tho. I can't even blame her for abandoning the him and the whole place itself especially since, if most might be monsters and say if they will all transform into monsters then there is no hell way that she stays a chance to them (just talking in her view, as mostly she thinks that way), just as you kind of said there. I am just here waiting for an explanation if the persons that are infected if they can turn back into human or if they are kind of screwed at this point, just like in Jagaaaaaaaan? Really curious about that right now. Personally, I do think there might be a way to refert back or removing this infection. We do know that the monsters can only be killed through fire, doesn't matter if they are full monsters or processing to becoming one, makes me wonder... if the infection can be killed that way too? Like, not burn the person to dead but more like giving it a slight shock to kill the infection? Since a shock in itself is also a bit of fire. Now I am curious about this......... but belp, my head is a bit spinning so can't really type or think all to clear atm, but at the same time I kinda felt like reacting back to your post. I think this will be enough for now. Excuses for my sentence if some of them sound a bit crappy and/or if I made typos. xD

Also I agree. I saw in the comment section, at the site that I read the manwha, some Eren Yeager meme's about him, which were quite funny since he is a bit like that at this situation. He just can tank the monsters for a certain time, and can recover his body also quickly lol. So I can see why people went meme modus on that. xD

And tomorrow? Do you mean chapter 55 or chapter 56? Because I have read till chapter 55 and have to wait for chapter 56. That brings me to the next question, does it get released weekly? Bii weekly? Monthly? Bii Monthly?

The chapter that will release is tomorrow is chapter 56 publicly ( technically there's 3 more chapters translated but only if you buy them with the early access in webtoon )
It's a weekly serie that release every monday.

Man I love these creepy smiles, his monster version makes.
Finally they reached the kids and the guy, mission accomplished but now they need to worry to make it out alive the way back, the second stage of the mission, honestly I doubt they all make it, if I had to say the girl will probably sacrifice herself after getting some intense characterisation and have the courage to do so, the one she will save are probably the kids as she won't last long anyways, or she get an asthma attack and mr old man will go try to save her resulting in death.
but you know I really hope none of the kids could die ....but it's heavily possible because with one of their death it could be a good way to develop hyun more..plus everyone gets sentimental when kids die or sth awful happens to them.

basically everyone have a deathflag expect the guy in the wheel chair as he needs to be there for the story, hyun and maybe the guy that came with hyun as this isn't the right time for him to die if he will.

So, I wanted to read their other work as soon as possible. Did not disappoint at all

And about the recent chapter

His monster comes back for another round. Not really surprising there...Though, it really begs the questions to me whether we'll actually see Hyun in his monster form sooner or later. I expected that his true desire wasn't the movie... but rather, something deep in his past that we don't have a proper answer yet, or even in present. Maybe, the monster might pick up on his past, but for now, Hyun is slowly turning in. But, I hope it's not in front of the kids.

Speaking of which, I really hope they don't die.
They're such great and strong characters... if they die...
Other than that, besides Hyun and probably Wook (aka Mr. Mobster) and Dusik, they got death flags. Can't wait for the next nightmare fuel
