I will try to teach you Hakuryu, it's very easy once you get the hang of it. Make sure you have a wind blowing at you, if you don't the ball won't rise as much. When the ball is low (about 2-3 balls height) and about to bounce near your feet, prepare for a one-handed backhand slice (racquet behind head). Then, when the ball is right next to your feet quickly swing downwards then upwards again for the follow through. Make sure during ball contact, that the racquet is completely pointing down, the face is tilted left halfway (say if 12 o'clock is opponent, the frame sides will be at 1:30 and 7:30) It looks like a golf swing on the backhand side with one hand. The racquet strings will grip onto the ball and force it forwards with backspin/sidespin combo spin. With practice you can get the height and spin right. The wind adds about 1-2 metres to the ball's height. Also you can adapt the shot to whatever you like. I sometimes use it as a stroke, not Hakuryu, to counter a low shot so when someone tries to return it, it pops to the left HEAPS. You can also turn it into a careful drop shot by adjusting power. Imagine you are on the right side of the court and you use it like that, it will pop back over the net.
Hope this helps! (This assumes if you are right handed, so for lefties 10:30 and 4:30 tilt ok?)
